I hate picking on individulas after a loss but his effort in the 3rd qrt just begged essondon to come back into the match.

Another crutial miss was Judds n the run in the 3rd.If he kicks that, we lick 3 in a row in the space of a few minutes and its game over.

$#@% umpires and $#@% lLucas. That miss from 5m screwed us. Inexcusable. Would have been 5+ goals up but they got a goal 30 seconds later and at that point they had a sniff and I knew we'd get done. So angry right now

I watched it happen to my Richmond supporting mates over thirty years and I'm seeing it happen to my fellow Carlton supporters.

I'm really not that upset.

If we had played break neck play on football all night we probably would have won by 10 goals.

This game was so much like the Bummers win over the Dockers it's not funny.

Yarran tried to get a cheap run and let his opponent overtake, the kick was fine.

When we got ahead we let them back in by leaving the corridor wide open, played into their hands.

Any Essendon* supporter that thinks they deserved that game is dillusional. But bottom line is they get the 4pts.

Absolutely gutted is a massive understatement. My weekend is ruined.
