Sarcasm, p'aps?

No sarcasm. Straight up what I think. Hampson isn't in our team if Warnock and Kreuzer and fit.

This is going well

Just back from the game. This will offend many but we are a seriously shizen side (regardless of injuries)
Port dismantled us time and time again, waltzing into a clear and open F50 with Carlton players no where to be seen, while we had to work so hard for all our goals.
Usual forward entry rubbish, skill errors by hand and foot and not enough mongrel in the stoppages

By the way? I actually cannot see the Lucas hating stuff. He does need to stick some tackles but he does get a lot of it. I thought that he was more than OK today.

How bizarre.
I was at the game, and thought we were great with endeavour, most of the day.
Really enjoyed the game.
We did not convert as often as perhaps we should, and if we had, would have killed them today.Looking forward to next week.

I thought we got the rub in the first half, them in the 2nd. Perplexed by some calls. But no worse than every other bloody week

The third quarter was just downright bizarre. Umpires paid anything and everything to Port, and ignored any calls that could have gone our way.

The Port player who fell all over Murphy then put a headlock on him and got a HTB free was the highlight.

I'm also going to throw Robbo is as one who can have a run around at Northern. Until he improves his decision making when he has the ball he is a liability. He lost me when he handed over Ports first goal on a platter.

That was a 70 point win we somehow contrived to turn into a 3 goal win. Given how readily the Port players turned the ball over today we should have utterly destroyed them.

Good to see Murphy get some confidence under his belt and good to see some boys fly the flag when he got belted.

Just wondering though, where the boys all wearing ultra-baggy shorts today as a tribute to Eddie?

Lets not mince words. The fact that we didn't destroy them shows how how flaky and tinny we are.

We lack in the uncompromising area.
We are just not ruthless... MM pre season said we are introverted and may take 3 months to sort that out.
We are either too gentlemanly or silly.. when we need to be ruthless callous in our approach to the footy game.

and how many times do we do the cute thing?

Had a shocking first half, but was pretty good in the second half.

Pretty close to the mark.

Not enough class on the field at present.

The journos who write for the AFL, those who write on the club's website and my personal opinion. Are those not allowed as you are just right? I thought this was a discussion board?

Ok so who do the journos who write for the AFL say played a bad game????

Nathan Schmook ....... is a man responsible for reporting games for the AFL.
Youre using him as your arsenal ... and youre serious......!!!

okay

no offence you can have an opinion and i can have one also.... but please dont use the star witness Nathan Schmook thinggy..... exhibit A that garbage as evidence to mount your case.
Give us specific moments he was jey playmaker...or a guy capable of playing in a final.... cos if we dont have people capable of finals footy we wont make finals....

simple

You mistake not being ruthless for simply not being that good

Our intensity today was excellent but we just make an amazing amount of errors
