You must have had the same maths teacher as Synbad. It 3 years and 5 games. Surely as a teacher you can count to 10. :screwy: :screwy: :screwy:

And I thought you and the Badman blamed Ratts for the problem with development. Now with him gone that should all be fixed so I guess you have nothing to fear now in that area.

This club blames everyone else too much. Not a great habit for success.

Problem is according to Cazzesman..
Its not the coaches
Not the recruiters
Not the players
Not the development

Its just time.... e verybody needs a career before they can be judged...

Now i have a problem with this.... does Cazz come on here and spew this logic out for our consumption... or is this really the logic used behind the scenes...???

Either way... he cant be taken seriously....

I prefer Cazz when hes doing what he should be doing...

using early picks to find mids that can kick and use the ball...and if they cant make it in our very strong midfield we should be establishing. they can then play in the flanks..

and talls that can run and take a contested mark...

basically.. the kinds of players good teams recruit....!!!

cant be that hard

Remember Sydney's Jack was recruited for one main reason. Workrate. Roos didn't think he'd make it. Now a gun.

Similar to Watson from Essendon* workrate > talent

Yep. and how long it it take these guys to reach these levels?

To Synbad, Cazz, Keogh.

Guys, we can argue back and forth all night about what was right or wrong. No one wins and unfortunately that's what you are all looking at.

My preference is too look at what we have now and where we are going.

Looking at the club from a purely football point of view I believe the club we have admitted to many mistakes and flaws and are more importantly addressing them.

In coaching we have got rid of Ratts and Co. and replaced with MM, Wiley & Co and have placed Webster at the Bullants and have a much better "control" of players development and preparation.

The recruitment department has been increased dramatically an the addition of Williams is a coup. Hopefully that will get rid of us recruiting guys like Rowe, Duigan etc instead of talented kids, that has been my biggest frustration!

Looking at where we were this time last year, we are miles ahead.

We could easily have 7-8 wins by Round 11 (A target of which I was heavily criticised). That would be a fantastic position after a slow start and with so many holes in our current line up.

The improvement in Gibbs, Lucas, Walker, Warnock, Henderson, White, Kruezer, Curnow, McLean, Yarran, Garlett, Tuohy, Armfield etc has been immense and they still have a long way to go.

Still to come are Menzel, Graham, Temay, Bootsma, Bell, Casboult, McInnes, Buckley (and hopefully one of McCarthy/Watson) and these kids can play and above all will be given the right opportunities.

I have seen this happen first hand before and this is the first time in over a decade that I am truly comfortable in the direction of this great club.

Above all, its the positivity and cohesiveness of the playing group is what impresses me the most.

PS I am happy with the improvement of Lucas and think he will be a very good player for years to come! :yikes:
