They were heaps better than Dawes and Choke.

This

But I wasn't overly happy with it. We will be much better with Walker back in the side :smoking:

Our forward pressure was fantastic. Our defence held strong. Henderson smashed Cloke & what's his name looked way out of sorts.

Pendles and Daisy are front runners. They both got carved up. Swan looks like he's eaten a whole one....

Our ruckman tonight were dominant. Gave first use to the midfielders.

A very even performance...

Adding more strings to their bow's.

If it works out you have a forward line that can play backline and a backline that can go forward.

When we come up against GWS the players can just stay at 1 end for the whole game...

Now that was a @#$%&! great night!

That first quarter was amazing. BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG!

Smashed them basically everywhere on the ground. Was so good to see a pretty solid four quarter performance. Everyone played well.

Swan is fat, Daisy is shit, Dawes is a dumptruck, Pendlebury is a FIGJAM, Harry O is a protected species. Blah blah blah injuries - I don't care, those ferals had it coming and @#$%&! it felt good.

I said the same thing to the father-in-law who we with me up in P13. Looks decidedly porky. (Swannie, not my f-i-l)

I think I like Dermie's assessment (on SEN) better: "Harry O stunk it up - he was putrid!!"

I expected us to win, as from seeing both sides first 2 games, we look hungry, manic fanaticism/belief, sort of like Collingwood in 2010, except more talented and with a side which should be in the mix for the next 5 years.

Though we needed to do what we did tonight, and I am wrapped and couldn't be happier, I actually think this has showed me more about Collingwood. I think they won a flag in 2010 getting a leg up with the game plan they implemented, super manic intensity, and everything came together. That was never going to last as you can't maintain the rage forever unless you have masses of a-graders like Geelong do.

Looks like the Malthouse thing has made things unstable, he obviously had very close relationships with a lot of the players, and regardless of if Buckley can coach well or not, it can be hard to replicate. I don't think they will make top 4, and they are even a danger of missing the 8 if a few more things go wrong.

Read it as you wish.
Carlton don't care to prove anything to the outside world.
We're under control.

Was thinking of you cimm, and really happy for you. Looks like you will be singing the song all the way home eh? We had a train carriage singalong on the way home tonite. Lots of fun. Even the Collywoods couldn't help a grudging smile.
