That was piss easy.

Took 15 minutes... got top deck of the Olympic stand, right at the front.
I've had experiences buying tickets to other things that was far more painful.

Bring on the Bombers.

Could be here for hours. I'm tempted to bail out and go see Liam Burrows and the Swing City Big Band instead.

Fair enough.

On a side note, went to queue up this morning and it was ridiculous. We all had to take a number each, which was fine, but only one person serving at the desk, and by 20 past 9, they were only up to number three. I was 74. Didn't worry me as much, I left and will go back tomorrow when the AFL members section becomes available. Will have to get there earlier. Thought the extra half an hour sleep this morning wouldn't do any harm

I eventually got top deck of the Olympic. Gave up rolling the dice to get top deck Ponsford.

Would it kill them to add something whereby you can select which level you prefer? I don't want to sit ground level, either, but for the first 15 times thats what I got, then Great Southern Stand top, then Olympic top, then back to ground level, then back to Great Southern Stand, then back to Olympic. I'd lost patience by then and chose that.

It wouldn't kill them, it would just force them to invest a bit more in their site.
God forbid Demetrispew would actually listen to the punters at the expense of Ticketek's profits.

Very frustrating.

Wanted prime upper, but like other continually got M1-5, or M31-35. The annoying part about trying again was going through the full process of barcodes etc when the site was running slow.

Tried the phone so I could speak to someone, but ended up giving up.

Went back to the 'net and kept getting the same. I dont mind lower level but I have kids that struggle to see whats going on at the other end.

Ended up going standard Row X Q14, which whilst being nosebleedish, is at least pretty much on the wing overlooking the ground.

Would have gone to an outlet, but living in Adelaide we had to wait a half hour until 9am our time before opening.....which in hindsight would have still been better.

Oh well, bring it on.

Got tickets bottom level ponsford stand. first lot i was allocated timed me out after one minute so had to go through all the barcodes again. Ended up with pretty much to same seats.
Clicked the option to pick up at venue so to the person who is getting them mailed out, good luck.

Giddy up! on the second attempt I got the exact bay I was hoping for.

N14, L2, Great southern stand, row J.

I wonder if row J is under cover? anyone know

Also got N15 which I'm happy with....the $5.10 charge for EzyTicket which you print yourself was a bit steep I thought!!

Got N8 woo

Agreed on the new $5.10 charge though - typical gouging.

Tickets must be going fast. I was on at 9: 10am and was very lucky to get n12, i think that's level 2. Another mate of mine tried to get premium seating an hour later with not as much luck.

Hope the AFL members isn't a shit-fight tomorrow.

People are already flogging tickets on eBay at around a hundred bucks each...:

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Carlton-V-Es ... 415d133d1e

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/CARLTON-BLUE ... 1c1e85dc50

They don't even have an exact location on where the seats are...

As an adult member, I was allowed to purchase 2 adults tickets, and my son with his kids membership 2 kids tickets, yet we had to purchase 4 seperate tickets at $111 rather than 1 family ticket for $89. Considering at the end of the day its still 2 adults and 2 kids that are going I don't see the difference?

Purchased 2 x MCC visitors passes. They allow you to nominate the level you want to sit on. My 7yo son prefers top level, so secured 2 seats in row D. Could have got row JJ on ground level.
