Some good and some bad from that quarter (Hendo getting caught on the wing was idiocy, do they think their opponents are just going to stand there and wait for them to kick it??). When Freo get those strings of handballs going from defence I get worried because their forward line is so open.

Some dodgy decision-making and poor kicking aside, we should be 5 goals up and those purple peanuts dead silent.

FWIW I don't think hendo has been that bad. The delivery in on a couple of those goals was pretty good.

AJ brilliant run and delivery off half back. Armfield good quarter, Murph got into it as the quarter went along. If Robbo could use it better he'd be elite. Warnock good start, more than holding his own, especially at ground level.

Could have taken a few more opportunities but overall a good start.

i guess robinson finds it hard to slow down, find poise and slot the easy goal when he's usually running around like a madman on the field

What rustiness?
I'd say it's business as usual for him.

err, anyway it's a test of our fitness today - a big test for Cordy, run out the game and we'll be too good for them

Crowley.

Crowley went for the punch as he usually does and as we usually do, the bloke on him got sucked in.

This bloke starts a fight in every game he plays against us. Right little cauliflower, and almost the sole reason why I hate Freo.

Hard to tell from the radio but not much noise from our section of the crowd. ABC commentators just bearable - like Ken Judge. Simmo, Yarran and Juddy getting plenty of ball. Army being useful up forward as well.

10 shots to 3 is pretty dominant - 5 goals up woulda been nice but Gibbs kick cancels one of the sodas. Gee, Hawks having a tough workout for next week  and Demetriou reckons the comp's in great shape :screwy:

Fine by me if they go into next week acting all cocky and overconfident.
