PROS
Jamo, Duigan, Yaz, Scotland

CONS
Collins - i knew this trade was Flowered. Grigg a much better option despite his issues we should have managed this better and kept him.
Hampson - the experiment is failing......is the irishman a better option at this stage?
Carazzo - a very average VFL player.
Gibbs - appears to have too high an opinion of himself. Pity he doesnt have a high workrate when the game is hot. Far too soft!
Betts - a bad bett since mid last year. Where has the good bett gone? Last roll of the dice - play him in the guts.
Ratts - starting to sound like a man who knows the end is near. To suggest that Ess was really one man down and imply that they were not disadvantaged smacks of a (i) desperation or (ii) a coach who does not have a clue

Check out ProStats on Monday, or the HS tomorrow (print edition). My guess is about 7.

Pros:

Curnow - Massive last quarter
Murphy - Great 4 quarter effort
Duigan - Very good
Warnock - Won the ruck
Jamison - Best defender on the day
Simpson - Best game for the year
Scotland - Hard at it solid game
Waite - Stand out forward

Cons:

Collins - Go back to Richmond
Henderson -One of the worst games ever by a tall forward in a Carlton jumper - disgraceful
Hampson - Not up to AFL standard
Gibbs - Quiet
Garlett - Last quarter melt down cost us the win

Pros:

- We fought back from 4 goals down again.
- Another dramatic game in the History of Carlton vs Essendon*
- Last time we drew with Essendon*, we ended up meeting each other in the GF

Cons:

- We played with 17 men (Hammer, Henderson, Collins and Betts had more important things on)
- Slow start again cost us
- Forward line structure was horrible (Probably due to being short 3 men)
- Goal kicking horrendous

Fixed it

Similar circumstances too. Simmo kicks out of the full as Sticks did. Both kicks could've won us the game.

Sorry Rhino but the years 2002 - 2008 don't register, was AFL played those years.

Pro
Defensive unit did very well considering the inexperience that is in there.
Drawn a game that we would have lost in years gone by
Umpiring was good considering we were playing the bummers
Kreuzer, bower, ellard and in-form henderson will improve this side
Tackling was good
Judd had a quieter day, but we still did OK in the clearances

Cons
Posters call Gibbs soft (6 tackles)
Posters calling for Ratts head, yet go easy on the players that make him look bad (betts I'm talking to you)
We didn't win
Forwards don't work hard enough
Love fest for Essendon* will continue

white. under rated performance. other than his first 7 minutes, golden boy Hurley was very quiet

cons
bummers had more run. I know our fwds were poor, however the bummers did work alot harder running the ball up and down the ground. thei ability to create space or at times lock it down in the fwd line (8 stoppages in their fwd line in the first qtr) was superior

Pros

- I got to watch the whole game on TV with very little interruption from wife and daughter

Cons

- I am now in trouble with the missus for reading about the footy on the internet the day after

Pros - This game might be the kick up the arse our players and coach need.

Cons - I woke up during the night CERTAIN that the game had been a dream and was disappointed when I realised it wasn't!
