It was a tongue in cheek comment. I committed to playing a few weeks ago and will not let you down on Sunday.

Maybe use an emoticon next time to indicate you were just being jovial. :wink:

Good luck with it guys. I would have been in for certain but with an injury to L1 and L2 and physio twice a week for the next 3 weeks, I am not even capable to do a jog or do a gentle bike ride. I'll see what I can do about work to come and watch and be a spectator. Vocal one at that. I'll let you know if I can get some time off. :thumbsup:

talkingcarlton/demonology have already acquired an anal-retentive goal umpire/time-keeper (yours truly), but subject to what barnesy and others on here might say, the team needs a coach...

or at least someone who can rotate players off the bench at timely intervals...

I think to avoid any sort of jumper clash and to make sure we are all wearing the same colour. TC/Demons should just wear white...white t-shirt, singlet, inside out footy jumper, whatever. No half Carlton half white or whatever. Just so we are all on the same page.

Rollo maybe you pass this onto the other boys @ Demonland?

sorry, guys, it's too late to change...

it's already organised that you guys will wear your CFC strip and the demonology guys will wear their jumpers inside out...

we have done this before with other teams and there will be no problems...

Well, from a game perspective a few of us were able to have a run and a kick, which was much appreciated.

As a site, our ability to get a team together as a one off was certainly disappointing.

My challenge, and I will do it again for one more year will be to work to set dates soon for 2011 / 2012.

It is a bit of fun, and all levels played.

Collingwood and Essendon* played each other after our game today.

Lets have a serious think about it and work to build a team for October 2011.
