Let's hope so, but let's not get ahead of ourselves.

It's a good draw. We only travel four times (even Collingwood will be travelling that often!), on Foxtel the least of any club (4 times), and we have more Friday night games (6 plus Thursday & Monday night games) than any other club (equal with St Kilda).

We play Collingwood, Richmond, Essendon*, St Kilda, Sydney and Melbourne twice.

No complaints as far as I'm concerned.

Even the Bye rounds come at a good time Round 8 and Round 23 - so players can freshen up for the Finals

Good God!

There's even a Sydney match!

(Maybe Sticks listened to me after all... )

When you say "on Foxtel the least of any club", JW, you mean in Victoria. Big difference everywhere else.

Gotta be happy with that draw. Home game against Ninthmond in round 1.

I think the byes are well spaced for us too with a bit of a breather before finals.

I might even try to get to the Gabba for first game against the suns. Thanks AFL.

It would have been nice to play the Suns and/or the Lions twice - these two sides should both form the bottom 2 next year.

Otherwise a pretty good draw and nothing to complain about.

I'd be careful locking in wins against Essendon*, Hotcox. The last few years has taught me not to be over-confident against them.

We have more free to air games than any other side, only 4 trips interstate. We are being looked after.

I can only take the kids to 7 games because that is all we play during the day - that means 11 night games in Melbourne - not great for families. The only games that are important for me to be on FTA are the interstate ones that I can't get to and guess what - the Port and Freo games are on Foxtel

Melbourne have the best footy draw, but combined footy and commercial I reckon we have the best draw.

17 FTA, could be 18.
Big blockbuster games vs Coll/Ess/Rich/Stk/Hawks etc
Only 4 travels, no double-travels
Good bye spacings
Melbourne games evenly split between Etihad and MCG
Home in Rd 22
