Walker - Pick 2 and showed heaps. Has had injuries but shows the run and carry we need. So much of our game relies on kicking back/sideways. Walker, Judd, Armfield and to a lesser extent Russell are the only ones who can take the ball through a zone.

Thornton - A player who isn't perfect but we've put 150+games into and should be a vital part of our game plan.

Sauce - Shattered, but still holding on to hope we'll keep him if a great deal can't be done.

Setanta - who'd of thought at the half way mark this year we'd be throwing him on the scrap heap .

Grigg - Another player who get's down and dirty - I'm not his biggest fan, but should be a walk up start in the 22.

We should be at the stage where everyone wants to come to Carlton because we're on the brink of something big. Sauce is really the only one of those you can understand as we have 4 rucks ATM. Thornton and Grigg have been treated like crap, Walker has obviously lost faith in the MC.

Next year, Chris Yarran played round 22 two years in a row but left out of the finals wouldn't be surprised if he wants out as well. I'm starting to question Ratts' man management skills.

I'm not sure why I continue to bother...but here goes. Ask any player at the club...in fact ask any coach in the league. Mark Riley is very good communicating with young players. I'm not saying he's an outstanding coach, but he'd be number one in communicating with the youngsters. Bomber is a lot like Alan McConnell in that regard and those in the know know just how good Alan is with the young footballer.

Montgomery is hard to replace...but there are still a number of players who make up our defense who've gone backwards, and both he, Lappin (who looks to be Collingwood bound) and Harvey needed to build their craft at other clubs. That's just a part of being an assistant and if you're in for the long haul, then a change of clubs is what you must do.

...and 6PR should probably focus on the fact that only 4 years after collecting a Premiership, the Eagles just collected a wooden spoon. But don't let the truth get in the way of a good story...there's a better story a lot of you are ignoring and that's that the likes of Kreuzer, Lucas, Simpson, Murphy, Gibbs, McLean, Yarran, Garlett, Henderson, Armfield, Russell, Waite and others absolutely love being at Carlton.

There's plenty of happy at Carlton...and think of all players who have signed new contracts with the club in 2010. Theres Betts for a start , but even players like Hammer committed to being with us whilst the the GC and GWS are offering big $.
