Just heard the top 10 on SEN. Glad to hear Fev made it in... Tools on SEN read out last years top 10 :screwy:

Well done to Judd, this guy is a true champion. That's 5 best and fairest awards, placings in top 3 in all the years he hasn't won it and only one year when he missed a placing and that was 2007 when he was injured. Add two brownlow medals, a norm smith medal and premiership medallion and this bloke is the most decorated player in the game bar none. :thanks:

Congratulations to Judd, and in particular to Russell - diligence and character to the fore, and a great reward for the patience shown by all involved in his development.

Interestingly, Judd is the tallest bloke in the top ten - if success is to come, one would suspect (and hope) that won't happen again in the remainder of his career.

well done to all. Thought Simmo might have been a bit higher in the order, not to worry

Garlett did really well. Highest placed forward in only his second year and he was one of the few who carried his form throughout the season - no real extended lapses.

Could be anything in a couple of years.

thats 2 seasons in a row simmo has polled a lot worse than i had anticipated. youd think hed be a coachs favourite the way he plays but maybe just isnt doing a few things asked of him?

also thought scotland would poll better and was surprised to see gibbs, carrazzo and murphy so high.

I think the voting system is a bit complicated.

A better way - if they want to involve the five members of the match committee - is to get them to vote 3,2,1 after each round.

This 2,000 votes for one player, 1623 votes for another and 1207, 450 etc for another just looks so cumbersome. It also doesn't look like a close vote. If you want to build suspense at a count you don't have your your third player 25 votes ahead of the fourth player etc.

On a happier note ...... Congrats to Juddy - a well deserved medal to the great man. One of the best players to have played the game. We are blessed to have him in navy blue.

Well done to Russell and Murphs for the placings.

Yep was a great night at the Crown.

Well done Skipper..... First player in history to win 3 Blues B&Fs in a row!!! Fantastic effort!

On a side note - me and the missus went 'player spotting' last night and unless we missed them somehow I'm pretty sure Jacobs and Grigg were absent last night.

Can anyone else there last night confirm?? I may have had too many Crownies last night and totally missed them...

Maybe not a big surprise with Sammy considering his moving to SA.....but Grigga??? Especially considering that others like Walker, Setanta and Thornton were all present.

Bit concerning re: Grigg.

Juddy is such a vote thief!

We went to Jordy after the R14 votes. We said we had to say congrats 'cos once he won we wouldn't get near him. He laughed and said " nah, aint going to happen". We asked him about his crutches and he said "nothing much, just going for the sympathy vote" . I said it was working.

Grigg was definitely there. I didn't see Jacobs either. Didn't see Walker or T-Bird but someone told me they were there. Did anyone see Houlihan?

Was browsing Twitter during the night and Jon Ralph made some comment about Judd being an umpires pet as he wasn't leading his own club's B&F after 14 rounds

Houlihan was definately there, and I think Sammy was there, but in truth we weren't rubber-necking the players this year. Trying to be cool. :smoking: :donk:
