I agree with those that mentioned Simpson - when we're struggling for confidence and direction Simmo is often the one who says "this is what we need to do" by throwing himself into a contest or taking them on with run when we're stagnant.

A real leader

So the biggest con is Seven's coverage?

Surely that's a pro?

Yeah, shoving it in Bruce McAveny's face was awesome. Unbiased commentary?? pffft, eat that Bruce.

You really think Bruce is biased? I think he just likes good footy, I've never noticed any bias towards Adelaide teams (so much so, I don't even know who he supports?). He seemed pretty excited when we lifted. I reckon Schwarz is one of the worst going around though. Could he offer any less insight?

MW as I was watching the game "Does Bruce McAvaney hate Carlton?"

His bias towards St Kilda borders on sycophantic.

PROS : defense stood up and we got across the line even though we played poor to avg for 50-70% of the day. Good sides find a way to win right?

CONS : Injuries and Waite seriously needs to grow up

I have worked at West Lakes & Marion shopping centres the past 2 days, and have seen more people wearing Carlton gear around then the 2 Adelaide teams.

Now that's a huge PRO !
