Good solid interview. Spoke of his own and the clubs short-comings in a positive manner and did the club proud.

Looked uneasy but answered the questions well and took on board some responsibility for the mistakes.

He'll learn from that.

Amazing that this rubbish is all there is to talk about until the real stuff starts in a couple of weeks. We are a desperate lot. Whatever Juddy says everyone will forget about in a couple of days anyway. The current media story is all about Fev. Unless Juddy really puts his foot in his mouth which is highly unlikely no one is going to take much notice of the interview except TC who will dissect it piece by piece because we haven't got anything better to do.

Except send our best to Fev maybe.

Watched the interview. Said exactly what you hoped he would say to the questions everyone knew would be asked. Boring. Apart from seeing Juddy live. In the end a good PR stunt with the Mars bar then the replacement Judd bar.

The whole thing to me was an embarrasment.

Judd is a nice bloke
He is a fantastic player
But he is a yes man
He seems a reluctant captain to me
people were laughing in the audience because it is funny that all this shit was allowed to happen.

The issue of why the senior player in question chained to Casboult wasnt mentioned was as you would expect swept under the carpet.
Judd was there simply to promote the brand and Mars and fend of the obvious questions which he did witout offending anyone.

Times have changed .But carlton are still stuck in the eighties.

Can you please enlighten us on the benefits that would be achieved by him telling the world who Levi was handcuffed to?

I love the way a link has been drown between Judd and leadership problems, poor Juddy was reluctantly made captain in uncomfortable circumstances because other "leaders" and administrators had not done their jobs properly before him --twice.
Cuz and his cohorts had destroyed the WCE culture and Juddy gets thrust in as captain in his early years, despite the mess they go on and win a flag. No a bad result hey!!
He comes to a Carlton an onfield train wreck and with no other choice they force a guy who has never worn the jumper to be captain and deal with a jealous Fevola, other semi-professionals in his "leadership" group.
The link of Judd to trouble is like African dictators killing doctors because they seem to attract sick people.

No fault of Judds, but what a boring interview. Crap questions that have already been done to death... at least we got the MARS sponsorship in...

The whole show was terrible. I won't be watching it again this year.

If I were the club, I would say 'No' to any Carlton player or offical appearing on the footy show for a minimum of 12 months.

I thought he handled the interview really well. There wouldn`t be too many current Captains who could have performed better in this situation. These issues and what he has learnt from dealing with them will be the making of him as Captain imo. As Tommi said he`s becoming a real Carlton man.

The show still has an audience. Not good for marketing to boycott it. Compromise and let a quiet level headed guy appear. Jamison seems a likely type?

I didn't see it - probably after midnight it would have started up here - but I assume he was well spoken and more importantly well dressed. I still have nightmares from when we were actually good in late 90's, early 2000's and our sole media rep was Matthew Allan. He would roll up onto TFS or Rex Hunt's sunday show in a pair of trackies and a polo. Cringeworthy.

Was the Judd bar a joke as I came in at the end of the interview?
