If Vossys recruiting policy is consistent, they'll grab an extra 3 players from the brotherhood bin in Lygon Street.

I will clap him off at the end however.

Provided no one in Navy Blue cops an 'accidental' Fevola knee in the kidney or spleen, I will too.....but while he's auditioning for the role of Mufasa in the off-broadway production of the Lion King with that silly jumper - I will sledge Brendan, and I think he'll be ok with that.

He's actually a fan of Eric Cantona, so I wouldn't sit too close to the fence if I were you!

No, that's just a misprint on the AFL site. On the Brisbane site, they have named a list of 29.

Are Austin and Armfield Injured????

I'm a little bit disappointed, would have liked to see them get a run, along with o'keefe.

Has anyone been keeping tabs on the new guy White? Would be curious to see how well he fits in....

Both have been mentioned in dispatches about injured players this year, and both were apparently carrying injuries when we played Sydney. There was a suggestion that Army had a knee niggle, but I don't know the nature of Austin's injury. I also don't know whether they're still injured or whether they need to regain fitness before playing matches.

Austin has a bad hip but is expected to be right in a couple of weeks. Hasn't had much of a pre-season however.

I heard Army had a slight Hammy(not torn) and was resting it for a couple of weeks.

Seems the fact we can elevate 3 rookies(apparently), we should play more rookies, Casboult in particular.

looking at the squads named, you would hope that we win relatively comfortably.

you would also hope that we played with a little more cohesion than last week.

kicking from the corridor to the fwd pocket/flank boundary was semi-ok when we had fev who could kick them from anywhere. without fev, i would rather us go up the guts. (maybe try some of that zig-zig running that the bombers beat us with last year). if we go up the guts and get done on the occasional quick turnover, i am ok with that. if we go to the boundary and still get done with the turnover, I am not ok with that.

What is the format of the game? Same as per usual NAB Cup? Or will the quarters be altered in time length??

What about if we go up the guts and get done on the rebound more often than not?
