Drop Russell
He continues to get a game when he doesnt deserve it based on his peformances
His last 2 weeks have been crapola football. Even his best fans would think this
For his own confidence he needs to go back to a lower standard of footy

Of course that is unlikely I mean we won by 41 points and Robinson will be one forced change anyway.

Russell will never be dropped because he has a guaranteed spot no matter what, so there is no point suggesting it.

My ins are Grigg and Scotland (carazzo if he is fit)
Out:Robinson and ???

and why does he have a guaranteed spot? No one deserves a guaranteed spot even if your having the best season of your career

could carrots play a forward tag on drummond like he did to hodge?? Grigg?

Bring hadley back in..IIRC he played a gr8 game against them last time round. plus other historical reasons

And always need someone to make Travis accountable........he cant be forgotten (unless the lions forget him) tore us a new one on too many occassions. JR for the role

Does anyone here think Chris Johnson will get a recall? I think he could be handy for us.

No way Hadley is gone IMO, just doesn't have it any more. Credit to him for fighting back from two knee recos and he may have made an A-grade player otherwise. I guess we'll never know.

Unfortunately I agree with you HELLAS BLUE.......he was a class act in 2004 before the 2 x knee recos cut him down. I was hoping he could be a "Dean Rice" type recruit for us but it isn't looking good.

Agree re Hadley...very overrated....would love to see Carazzo back though.

Im looking forward at taking on the Bombers with Carrazzo, Scottland, Grigg and Johnson all playing off half back (possibly walks)

Black has cut us to shreds before, but it would seem Drummond is the new go to man for the Lions.

Shut Black down and we shut down their feeder in the guts or shut down Drummond and we take their go to man in defence out of the game.

Who would you put AJ on?

Power, Adcock, Rich and Black means more headaches than WCE or Adelaide or Freo.

I do not expect to win this game given the Lions recent good form.

If the match commitee and coach allow Gibbs to float around getting soft kicks outside the action then the kid is being wasted.

We can't afford to have this gem of a player being a link man.

Brisbane had the same players in Round 2, this time they are without Charman, Leuy, Patfull, Merret.

Expect us to add a couple more senior players for this game. Ratts thinks we over did the kids on recent interstate trips.

I think Fev's the key.

With a couple of defenders missing, he may be on for a massive bag.

Norf tagged Drummond on the weekend and it allowed Adcock to run on his own.

Adcock will hurt with you his run off half back too...if you are to tag Drummond you still need to pay attention to Adcock.

I think this is a game where Hampson and Kreuzer can exploit Mitch Clark's poor defensive ability. Even better is when Brennan is in the ruck use the extra height of our two ruckmen to exploit their weak defence.

Joey in for Armfield- deserves a game after consistency in the 2's
Grigg in for Robbo-

Scotland also should return for Russell but won't happen

Yarren prob would of expected to return after being omitted for family reasons(apparently) but after Garletts impressive game may not.

Whoever plays on Adcock and drummond need to be accountable.

Adcock has the potential to do what Knights done to us two weeks ago.

But we did play them in Round 2 at Docklands stadium, not up at the GABBA

Beat them at the Gabba last year after being 5 goals down at 3/4 time. It can be done.

Would like to think we've learnt abit from interstate fiascos this year. We're about "due" to do something interstate this year and we did win at Gabba, AAMI and Subi last year. The trick is to get the twin towers out of the forward line and if we play Krooze forward (hopefully forcing Bradshaw back) and let Hammer/Carlos take on their ho hum rucks, you never know.
