Good job Patrick,

It was heartening to see that you are as stubborn as the man that you feel the need to persistently attack. You criticize Mr Pratt for failing to leave his position as president of Carlton and yet without the support of the board, members or supporters of Carlton; you call upon them to have the courage to do something that they do not wish or feel they need to do.
Your constant bantering on this issue and your very isolated belief that the general public shares your opinion is bordering on obsessive compulsive disorder and I am very concerned for your health. Please feel free to contact me should you wish to seek help with this illness as I feel that if you continue this damaging path you are taking, there will be little that can be done to save you.

Kindest Regards,

Steven Covino

IMO there is a deeper reason why Smith doesn't like Pratt. To those who know Smith well, might agree. This is perhaps why Mark Fine does not think very highly of him either.

His articles on Mr Pratt are not just his opinion about the issue but they are personal attacks. Article after article, attack after attack, he will not let this die down. Why does Smith take this issue so close to his heart? You make your own decision.

I take it from what you're saying that Fatprick does not see Israel as an ideal holiday destination for himself?

You give him credibility...... by even mentioned him...and especially writting t him.. it means you have read his arse wipe paper and listened to the dick on the radio...

turn off and boycott mentioning him and following him

ratings are all they understand ...

Not sure if it's been mentioned here, but the other day Mark Finne on SEN absolutely gave it to Fatprick. Basically called him a sour and bitter old man. We should ban every thread on Fatprick as I'm sure he gets his rocks off comming here and reading these posts. A sad attention seeker he is.

I heard this and I have to say it was the biggest load of manufactured tripe ever to go to the airwaves. What better way to try and increase the flagging ratings than to have one stablemate get stuck into another one over something as trivial and pathetic as the North Melbourne Saga. (I know this is not a Carlton issue but since Fat Prick is the topic, it is relevant).

The radio station manufactured some "angst" between two presenters to try and a/. make people listen and b/. make listeners call.

I would suggest that this piece of bile by flower Mine was nothing more than a ratings grab instead of him being actually upset by what Smith had had to say in the first place.

I dont know..

I dont think SEN need to fish for callers and ratings. Plus the Nth Melbourne saga is anything but trivial and pathetic.

Ok, this situation has been going on for long enough here at TC, IMO.

2005 TC rant on Fatprick

I propose that in future any TC user who starts a thread or posts a link referring to a Fatprick article gets a 24hr ban.

Can I get a seconder, or does Fatprick keep getting publicity on TC?

He would be thrilled.
We are giving him what he wants.
He thrives on publicity, and the only way to get it is to write garbages like this.
I agree with a ban on any mention of him from this day on.

Have given up listening to KB's program with him on it.
That is the best way to fix these types.
An email to SEN telling them that we that we are all turning off because
of him will be the best way to fix this.

It must have been "paint by numbers journalism day" at the Australian and Age after Fatprick Smith and Wilson came up with nothing articles about their pet topics (Carlton and Collingwood respectively) to garner interest in their rags again on the eve of the season.

I wouldn't even put collusion past them as it seems too coincidental that these two articles appear on the same day in rival newspapers apropos of completely nothing.

The thing is, there are supporters of 15 other clubs who absolutely lap this shit up, and if they publicise some sort of boycott on our part it'll provide more ammunition.

But I will say that responses such as ADPs and others make me feel a bit better, as they're at least starting to get just as sick of it as we are.

Just ignore it. You're playing right into his hands. He writes these controversial articles to elicit reactions and that's exactly what he's getting. The kind spirited side of me would like to take this as a positive and say he doesn't actually hate Pratt/Carlton, he just sees it as a way of bumping up his ratings/posts on his articles. The mean spirited side of me laughs at this is how he makes his living and isn't what I would call an intelligent journalist.

Honestly. All you people are doing is seriously overrating the impact Smith's articles have, and underrating the power our President has.

Smith is nothing but a little ant for Pratt to laugh at.

Wouldn't you just love it if Mr Pratt was as vindictive at Fatprick is. With his money he could just 'do stuff' to make life very, very, very awkward for many, many years.

You know..............Just stuff.............

You know where I'm coming from don't your tommi

Kind of like short sheeting his bed but to the power of 1000.
