Thanks Bondi,
I think we all take liberties on TC at some stages regarding the extent to how we put across an opinion...slash...argument - it's the freedom given to us of being behind a computer.
I propose matters to people sometimes not revealing the entirety of my own opinion, but it's an approach I've learnt from learned people in art, literature and other areas; who proport their work as not a comment on society but provide a summation of what is occurring then propose what needs to happen. To communicate my message I may need to rein in my rugged style, but this approach raises issues for discussion, encourages concerned people to air their opinion and creates a running public dialogue where more people will listen to what you have to say, plus your own opinion will develop because you'll have more valuable input from other people.
Bondi, I like Bondi, I haven't been there for a few years, I'm sure like anywhere you're right, there are good people.
And Tommi.........
...........blow a lid off it.........
John that is very funny, maybe we should all put in and open up a Talking Carlton Cafe. Maybe off Lygon Street or at the new club facility

Dick's a man of culture, he might be into the idea. We could get interesting types who live in Carlton to come down and talk about what they're about and promote some social issues. An online football community creating a real life cultural hub
