Don't take this as me picking on you directly but this comment said by many on this forum flowering irritates me to no end.

There is no doubt the cats are a better team than us atm...

...but no flowering way are they 13 goals better. It's a cop-out and I refuse to buy it.

correct, we are starting to sound like Saints & bulldogs fans of days gone by- we shouldn't put up with crap performances like that and then say 'oh, I'm sure they tried hard, they'll learn from this' blah, blah fuc%ing blah

and i never ever said that geelong were 13 goals better than us. But geelong did play better, the ball bounced geelongs way, the umpiring to me, went geelongs way, but please keep in mind geelong are a seasoned side, no not 13 goals better than us, but i do rate them higher than us.

Geelong IS a 13 goal better side than us. It proved it on saturday night unfortunately. Would you say that Brisbane is a 9 goal better side than St. Kilda. Most wouldn't, but they proved it on Thursday night. There's an old cliche in footy that I won't repeat but it is sooooo true.!
The disparity between the sides throughout the year is one thing that the Reality Ladder on www.footytalk.com.au tries to show so at least when you make a comment like "Geelong are not a 13 goal better s
ide than us", you have some evidence to back it up.
