It's a Sticks robot that you just wheel out now and then to say a few token words and then he goes back in the box.

It works totally to your instruction though - and doesn't drink either.

Perfect!

Theyre just hoping a guy can step in and coach and they dont have to do anything else..

that guy will have ALL of the answers..

Its not going to happen.. because they have no clue.. and no big name is going to compromise his career with a bunch of clowns.

The quicker they go.. the faster we will be back on track!!

Believe me when i say if we do EVERYTHING RIGHT.. there will be blue skies very quickly...

But not with the current board and coach...

and some hard decisions need to be made on players... Kouta should never have been signed up again.. and there is no excuse to have simmo fisher etc unsigned during this mess.. and Kouta signed..

Who would begrudge these kids if they jumped???

Morons!!!

Oh and i forgot .. were going after O'Reilly/Angwin .. sorry Gardiner...

He will be the name to bring the members back!!!...

Can they all just piss off!!????

I know Id've loved to see a proper press conference with Mitchell as newly appointed senior coach surrounded by all our young talent with Simmo on one side of him and Setanta on the other side telling us how much they've learnt under Mitch and how EXCITED they are to get stuck into the 2007 season.

POSITIVITY!!!!

Sell your REAL assets you idiots!!!!!

Now thats fine if he believes in Pagan but I suspect the man who has sent out resume's to all the Melbourne clubs is looking after his own interests.
There seems to be a hell of a lot of that at Carlton at the moment.

No doubt Fraser Brown would be bemused by the actions of Sticks, Ratts and SOS in recent days.

Flip Flop Football club. :(

I doubt Browny would "be bemused" by Ratts looking for a coaching position as he's Ratts best friend; he'd know his every move.

Anyway....as far as Ratts sending out CV's to all Clubs is concerned; it's an old sales mantra that "the more doors you knock on; the more chances you've got of making a sale"

Which is why we need to get rid of the current board quick smart.
We get rid of them, the new board comes in, sacks Pagan and essentially prevents Gardiner playing for the Blues.

I agree with Synbad, If we make the right choices, things will turn around quickly, much more quickly that people might realise.

As I have stated, we need a board challenge to initiate this.

continuing Pagans blues - will only delay and hinder our potential.

I'd like to see Brownie come out within the next fornight and announce this ticket.

I'm not sure why he wishes to keep it low key because every man and his dog knows that Carlton figure heads wouldn't put up with this anymore and act upon it with a board challenge.

Lets just hope that people like Brown are smart enough to not surface till they find who they think are the right people for the job instead of just grabbing anyone standing around and not the right people (like this board)

Its pretty easy to just put your hand up and be the perceived 'saviour'... but you have to turn things around too...and that requires brains as well as money..and also some contacts in the right areas..

But Synbad...he already has!....I don't think he should say anything until he has got something. Dog's .."well we might get a ticket, we might get rid of Pagan, Mitch may/may not be the alternative..." is really not contributing to the "flip-flop" that seems to be annoying him....just seems to be more of the same.

I want to hear "this is what were doing...this is why...and it's going to be the best thing ever!'
and then get on with the bloody business of doing it!

Can't hear ANYBODY saying that at the moment.

Unlike other players (Silvagni take note), I cannot question Fraser Brown's passion for Carlton however I must question his judgement in attaching a condition to helping finace Pagan's exit from the club. If Mitchell was not part of the equation, the club would be interviewing prospective coaches right now.

Whilst I admit there are compelling grounds to dismiss both Pagan and most members of the board, I would be wary of an opposing ticket that was prepared to slot Barry Mitchell in the most crucial role for the club without going through a formal selection process. Look at Hawthorn and the manner and steps they took to ensure the best available man was selected to coach their Team.

In our haste to throw out Elliott and his cronies we brought in a level of incomptence never seen before at the club. Let's make sure we take a long hard look at the credentials of the alternative board in stopping the haemorrhaging and putting an end to this damaging factionalism.

Brown has said there is no need to put Mitchell into the top job straight away

I agree - we should do it like Hawthorn did - but I don't think we're smart enough to do that.

Exactly.

If a new ticket is formed I want to hear what their plan is for rejuvinating the club.

If all the plan consists of is 'getting rid of Denis' then I would have serious reservations about them.

Come to the members with a well thought out plan and a credible group of individuals who can carry out that plan and then you will get enough support to get in and do the job.

Anyone is better than the current board.
Theyre tired.
Theyre out of ideas
They lack genuine passion.

But im sure whatever new ticket is created it will at least have passion.
If Dog has anything to do with it it will also have the ability to make decisions.

Isn't this message a bit harsh (and kinda sexist)?

Are you talking about the board or the people on this board (TC)?

Um Both? :?

Silly post to be frank....I'll leave it there for entertainment purposes...

Was in a mood this morning and I really should have taken my Better halfs advice and ;

(spoken in a very patronising way)
"Bubby, you really shouldn't speak when you are in moods like this"

:-D lol...anway...
