Bartram - 7

Thought Birchall would have been a bit higher.

He's had a fairly good seaon.

WOW proves even more what a joke this award is.

Well done to Pearce though...

This highlights the issue I have with the system, the week to week performance is not rewarded well enough.

They should each be sending in their 3, 2 and 1 each week.

Anderson & Bickley didn't award Marc any votes.

Scumbags.

^ Yeah, the voting system is flawed true enough. Just giving a tiered 1-5 list isn't really good enough from the panel. Of course no-one was going to give Murph many votes -- he only played half the season -- yet for impact he was right up there with Pearce.

For him to finish with just over a quarter of the votes of Pearce is a farcical situation.

Last time I checked 16 was a larger number than 14.

Adrian Anderson gave Thomas his only vote, he also didn't give Murphy any.

Denial is such a terrible affliction. Apparently 99/100 denial sufferers are Collingwood supporters. The other one is Kevin Sheedy.

Mandy how far did Dane Swan miss out from being eligible? Has he been around longer then I think?

4 - Middlesborough - Mark Viduka
3 - Everton - Tim Cahill
2 - Blackburn - Lucas Neill
1 - Blackburn - Bret Emerton

This is his 4th year.

But don't worry about him. He'll win the Brownlow instead! 8)
