I like the slow starts. It makes winning a lot more enjoyable when we come from 5 goals down :smoking:

Come on bluegirl72, admit it. Don’t you agree that the wins against Brisbane and Freo were much better than the win against the Bulldogs because we came from 5 goals down?
Here’s to another win on Sunday.

In the words of Scot Palmer, “Keep punching!”

Cheers,
Go Blues!

1970 is more iconic than 1972 for that very reason.

No matter how we do it, as long as the boys bring the new found intoxicating energy and 4 points home supporters will be ecstatic.
Gotta gut feel we'll knock off the Demons and Swans too.
Team momentum and confidence is positive players are in synchronicity with Teaugy and determined to keep on wining, its unfolding wonderfully.

Yup 42 points down at half time and against a superior foe. Historical win, so sweet.

Yes! Then Gold Coast and then Adelaide. How good would that be? Especially Adelaide.
Dare to dream. :smoking: I’d love to be able to say “I predicted this” in four weeks’ time.
Go Blues!

Still in a trance-like state from beating Freo :fight:

NM is in the same boat. If they don't select Shaw, we should add him to the possibles. He and Teague have a similar position. Keep it fairly simple and let the players play footy.

I'd be happy to give Teague a try. It doesn't matter whom we select, there are no guarantees.

I think Crocker's position in the Norf set up allows them to replace a coach as they would replace a player.

Our set up is more like Iraq & Afghanistan, operating amongst the rubble of a deposed autocrat... factional parties clamouring for superiority. There are foundations that need to be repaired and I think there might be more to learn from the mid-table teams than the ones at the pointy end.

Imo, the critical thing - for better or worse - is how powerful our Senior (and some not so senior) players are.

Make no mistake, Bolton was doing the right thing, based on the agreed plan. HOWEVER.... he had to go because..... he'd lost the players, particularly Cripps, C. Curnow, Thomas, Simpson, and possibly Murphy. If you're not sure, watch replays of the GWS, St Kilda, and Essendon* games.

If Teague sticks to the plan AND maintains the support of the group, which he definitely has atm, he's in like Flynn....

He sure did, despite it being a thickly wooded area and subject to extreme temperature changes.

Let's see how we go tomorrow.
I think the dees will be a bit more disciplined than Freo, and looking to make a statement.

We have our own Rocky O'Brian to fly the flag for us now.
Camon champ
Get that dastardly villain Lewis.

Being seduced by the short term success of an interim coach is a dangerous proposition.
I think it adds to his resume. it isn't the whole resume.

What I think has happened is that Teague has knocked out any untried coach. He has at least some runs on the board.
But Clarko, Ratten, Voss would all have to be considered. When I say that, I mean give Clarko whatever he wants to take the job.
