I don't know about everyone else, but I'm actually quite optimistic that this new coaching panel will inject some much needed enthusiasm and ideas into the playing group. A diverse range of people is very much welcomed in my book, and avoids the tried and failed 'jobs for the boys' approach.

What this coaching group must do is unite the playing group and create a collective hunger.

Lack of leadership and a fractured playing group killed us this year. Thanks Mick.

In a way, I hope I never hear much about the coach or the panel. Inasmuch that things settle down and we just quietly go about improving without any fanfare.

Which is kinda hard considering the type of supporters we can be wanting to know every intricate detail of the club on a daily basis - "did any spot what colour boot laces Murphy wore today?"

But I do hope all the dramas are well and truly done away with now, and we can quietly go about the business of building something special. If I have one ask of the new coach and team, that would be it.

Has there been a head Hat Coach appointed to deal with the really important stuff?
