Initiate blood purge
Coalition in massacre
Mechanized high tech
Whole sale death in effect

Mutually assured
Destruction will occur
Genocide revised
Same pain through diverse eyes

Can't stop the warring factions
Can't stop the warring factions
Can't stop the warring factions

Hostile from the start
Always war always
Ending bitter peace

Not the last third war
Blood spills for evermore
Patriot hard line
Lay siege till the end of time

No longer kill your brother
Just slaughter one another
Watch for the deadly other
This sibling is a flower

Can't stop the warring factions
Can't stop the warring factions

Global tension starts aggression
Peace breaks out then breeds contempt unrest

Without a reason to fight, a time to kill
Sick lust for skeletal flesh, a taste for all decay
Enter the soldier blind, stalking the faceless hunt
There is no conscience in this world that can be reached for peace

Why face the human question, the need to hate
Dead stare through cynical eyes, a trust in only pain
Murder within the skin, engrave the art of war
Become death's vile parade, march on embrace the violent mind

Can't stop the warring factions
Can't stop the warring factions

Global tension starts aggression
Peace breaks out then breeds contempt unrest

One cryptic reason for life murder

Before posting that grro, did you wonder if they'd be one person out there that actually would recognise anything Slayer, let alone from a clunker such as Diabolus in Musica?

In other news. Bomber says "hmm"

.....and then knocks back the job.

Never a hope anyway. Dont want anyone that lost the passion once. This task is not for the half-hearted:

I was baiting you jimmae.

I'd like to know, and I don't have a secretary anymore to do the research.

I agree.

"That's the problem with some people. They walk into clubs because the opportunity is there" could easily be aimed directly at us.

The first part of that the committee will need to work out is their criteria for what best suits this group. Otherwise you are comparing apples with oranges, with pears with bananas.

There are 4 choices.

Experienced coach currently at a club: Lyon, Clarkson
Successful 'retired' ex coaches: Worsfold, Thompson
Sacked experienced former coaches: Sanderson, Ratten, McKenna, Voss
Experienced assistants from successful clubs: Bolton, Nicks, Dew, Tudor etc, etc.

AFAIC, Forget about group 1. There is no reason you'd currently leave your club to take on Carlton for any reason other than money. Wrong motives.
Group 2 have already ruled themselves out, and rightly so. Not interested in burnt out coaches, who possibly might not be in it for a long and difficult haul.
Group 3, will find you an OK guy who no doubt would be better for the experience, but to me smacks of safeness and mediocrity and the club needs some youthful hungry exurberence.
Group 4 is the right fit for this club. Young and motivated to go with what is hopefully the ongoing theme for on and off the field. "The process" might bring a Neeld or Watters, but a panel should be good enough to speak to a wide range of people to support their own views to get a more than suitable applicant.

Oh, and I like DIM too grro. It's the nu-metal element that puts a lot of people off.....

I hope the process is as exhaustive as our global search for a CEO which reached to far away Adelaide.

see when I look at how nervous and uncomfortable our new CEO was as soon as Betts came up, (was assured and confident til that point) It just riles.

I thought Triggsy handled the Betts thing quite well. Perhaps he was a little defensive, but given the gravity of the allegation, that's probably fair enough.

Adelaide is like being on another planet. So it counts as an interglobal search.

Sanderson would be scary bad.

Dumb as a post.

He has some development role at the AFL. So he's now ruining up and coming talent.

A million times NO to Sanderson.

I don't think Bomber's burnt out, I just think he's been around the block enough to realise what a disaster the club is from top to bottom and wants no part of it. He might have his issues, but he's not stupid. In its own way, his off the cuff comment tonight was as big, or bigger, dagger than anything Malthouse had or will throw at Trigg/board.

:P

I'd rather let people who've had some experience with those names or have some second hand experience to share. There'd be a few floating about on here.

Had no problem staying at a disaster of a different kind at Essendon* though.

He'd fit in perfectly at Carlton then.

Just no to Voss. He will trade in a whole lot of old hacks.
