For mine I'd like someone who's played AFL this millennium.
(So no Dunstall, Brereton etc).

Caracella.
Worsfold - Director of Coaches
McKenna - Head of development
Keep Laidley as senior assist
Flick the others and let Caracella pick some quality line coaches.

Now we're talking, anyone who watches the NT Thunder game of the week on NITV will know that he'll easily live up to his lofty playing reputation as a coach

In confirming Mick Malthouse had joined the impressive pantheon of sacked Carlton coaches, Carlton president Mark LoGiudice used two words seldom uttered, and certainly never been practised, by the club.

LoGiudice promised the club would employ an independent panel as part of an "exhaustive process" that would deliver the next coach.

On the list:

Stuart Dew.......my favourite candidate
John Barker......not a fan.....yet
Brendon Bolton.......good manager. Not AFL player. Perhaps good Footy coach director
Adam Kingsley...."........NFI....what about him?
John Blakey...............interested to know more about him...NFI
Leigh Tudor...............NFI...thought he was good junior coach and player development
Matthew Nicks.........another I'm keen on...want to know more
Guy McKenna...........worthy of a look
Brenton Sanderson......worthy of a look
Michael Voss...."...........worthy of a look. A few rounds back thought he was favourite. NFI

Thanks for that.
I have entered my thoughts

Stewie Dew is my favourite
Like John Blakey.
Matthew Nicks makes my ears prick, and want to know more.

A profile on each would be good. Wikipedia?

actually, he kind of said
not while you still have that rabble of a board with factions.
if a spill occurs, we could end up with a fabulous club

it's the only way we'll start attracting great people to the club again.

(I don't mean Bomber by that, but the fact that people are turned off by the way things are run at CFC land.)
I mean, we all know it's a hideous joke, and yet we expect the best and brightest to come work for us?
Ha!!!!!

also, Robbo reckons Ralphy reckons Mick dropped a real grenade on Trigg.
what does that mean?
story will be up later tonite, but it seems the story is not going to just disappear.

see when I look at how nervous and uncomfortable our new CEO was as soon as Betts came up, (was assured and confident til that point) It just riles.
We could have had a CEO with talent and integrity..a young , forward thinking man, but the club does not as yet attract that.
I'm rambling a bit, but now may be our only chance to get it right.
These dysfunctional warring powers at the club have to exit.
There must be a challenge, and soon!
