Can someone direct me to this quote from Clarko?

It is so obvious that Teague has been treated poorly. Particularly if there were approaches to Clarkson and Lyon during the season. To make matters worse, Teague has a contract in place for 2022. As I have stated previously, if there was no confidence in Teague, then he should have been formally told before the end of the season. It appears to me that this has become a process of elimination. That is, if Clarkson and Lyon didn’t accept the offer, then Teague remains coach in 2022. Although, I think Lyon will accept the offer and become our next coach.

Thanks for having a crack Teaguey, no shame in not being up to it, a bit of shame in not owning it though.

Enjoy the nice payout and a year off to refresh methinks, young family in a pandemic to spend some quality time with instead.

Another coach bites the dust

The club is in a huge amount of turmoil

In a sense, it was probably required as we are at ground zero and may finally learn to understand what is required to become a great football club again

Thanks for your years of service.

Not being successful as a coach in your first term doesn’t mean you won’t be successful at some point.

Good luck

I wonder if he went to the board and said he wouldn’t continue unless they guaranteed him two more years to defuse all the speculation?

Either way I would have liked to see him coach out one more year, I’m not convinced he was given adequate time and resources to show much.

Wait, but I didn't get an email from Sayers first??
We haven't treated him well, to be sure. We should have told him on Sunday or Monday at the latest.
The Board should have worked out all contingencies in advance and there shouldn't have been this delay since Sun.

But now its time to move forward as best we can.
Most commentators believe that we are close and a few tweaks to game plan and personnel will put us right. Hopefully, we get back on track next year.

So maybe Clarko wasn't "disgusted" by the FACT that Carlton kept his little mate Bolton for 7 wins, 2 wins, 6 wins, 7 wins seasons?
Maybe Clarko should be consulted via his translator Caroline Wilson on how Carlton kept Bolton despite four seasons of abysmal results.

Hell, let's start up a Caroline Wilson communications department at the club.

Does Wilson have the best interest of Carlton at heart?

She's too busy getting her little shopping list of a Tasmanian team, extra funds to Gold Coast by the AFL executive who stand in her way to worry about little old Carlton. All commentators have an agenda of some description.

Well I guess David doesn't have to be treated like absolute shit by nongs anymore.

Thanks for your efforts Teaguey - you should know more than most this club is the most shortsighted messiah complex club in the game.

All the best.

No. I can't see the quote anywhere there.

Tom Morris is a Moron of the highest order azza.

A disgraceful journo, if that's what he likes to call himself.

Plus he has mates too...Robbo, Browne, Lansberger, Cornes, Ralph and more....and we are stuck with these fools, who bare no shame despite the disrepute they bring to the AFL landscape....almost as bad as The AFL Commissioners ....and what about Michael Christian.

At least Carlton is moving on the non performers, something the AFL Commission can learn from.

I'm comfortable that he was given the opportunity to tell his family before I was informed by the club.
If he or his inner circle chose to release it to the media. So be it.
Hopefully no one is seriously upset that Sayers didn't let them know first.

The next headline will be "Carlton a shambles as media alerted before supporters"
