No I questioned you when you made up carp about Goodes an hour ago.

Are you for real? Lol

Get back on your knees and pray at the alter if mediocrity and leave me alone.

You're a bumbling idiot who doesn't understand anything but mediocrity

Don't question me about anything again... You're living deep in the bowels of nothingness.

I want us to be great
You're happy with average... We have no common ground to discuss Lol

Bullying on an internet forum is the infection on the bowels of nothingness.
Rule on.

Happy to ignore. Just stop the blatant lies.

Wasn't there reports in may he'd taken a large pay cut for 2014?

Reported as up to 50%.

Could be wrong, I don't believe everything I read. Maybe you could find out for us.?

You're not wrong. Judd was openly reported to have accepted a 40% reduction in salary for 2014.

Thomas and most likely Murphy would be earning more.

Thought so.

Was just letting Synners dig himself a hole. Like his Kreuzer knee stuff.

He must be getting someone to ghost write for him, no one person could produce this volume of quality material.

After landing Thomas, hoping we can land docherty ASAP..
The kid can play and after a big preseason he will be flying..
Fraser mcInnes would be a fair swap for bootsma..
In; Thomas, docherty and Fraser mcInnes
Out; betts, hampson and bootsma
Would love to land Ben Lennon at pick 12
All of a sudden we would have,
Menzel, graham, Lennon, docherty and mcInnes all under 20..

Dig myself in a hole?
What hole?

The club has dug itself in a hole not me....

Are you expecting to be taken seriously?

You pay for production.
You're looking for value if you're creating a list to win anything
All I see is overpaid underperformance with ours.
I can't examine curnow and white.
Start at the biggest asset and determine productivity value and go from there.

I dug myself into a hole! Ha!
Stop being ludicrous and examine the thread.
It's about list management not me

Unless you think it's great.

Has finished 3rd & 8th in our last two B&Fs. Not sure we can call that 'poor'. Simpson is the only player that has been better for us over that 2 year period.

not much competition for him

we have been shit

so to place top 10 in a b&f when you are crap

doesnt exactly equal greatness

dont know how many top teams his preformances would have placed him in those positions in their b&fs

Judd was played forward in the 1st half of the year by Malthouse, while evaluating our other midfielders.
Some would say he was saving him for the run home even.
When he went into the midfield in the 2nd half of the year, he picked our side up again and finally did enough to get us playing finals.
Judd is star and has been carrying us for the past 5 or is it 6 years now. He deserves every penny!

But we aren't talking about greatness. You said to forget his name and judge him on his merits. Even putting aside his B&F finishes, I think he has been our 2nd best player over the last 2 years (the period you raised). He deserves to be our 2nd or 3rd highest earning player.

Yep. We are average. I've been saying that for 2 years. I hate it, but I don't blame Judd.

How much is he on next season Synbad? And what's your source?

On output, there is no good reason why he should be our highest paid player next year, or even 3rd or 4th. In fact I'd be shocked if any of the parties involved (including and especially Judd himself) would entertain the idea that he should be.

But the fact that he was being overpaid for his output over the past two years has nothing to do with how well we're managing our list at the moment. He signed a 6 year contract back in 2007. The trouble with those things is that they are, you know, kinda legally enforceable. Maybe the last two years weren't value for money, but what were we supposed to do, tear it up? Cut the brakes on his Prius and make it look like an accident?

sorry but that is tripe

did you really expect Judd to continue dragging this team over the line

all players will eventually become lesser players over time

Malthouse has obviously realised that our reliance on Judd was not healthy and needed to change

unfortunately as the Richmond and Sydney finals showed we are not there yet

to say he is costing us big time and has been poor for the past two seasons is ludicrous

we have bigger problems than Judd

I'm with Grro and Synners on this. We'd have been better off he retired at the end of the year. If you can't see it now - perhaps you'll see it in two years time.

Still think his coming to the club and the 6 year deal was great. Has nothing to do with that.

of course him coming to the club at the time was great - i agree and it helped initially with supporter morale and the general vibe of the club

and we got some decent return out of him back then - hey he won a brownlow

but in reality we have won 2 elimination finals and missed the finals a couple of times - the judd era is ultimately overall a fail

and now we are hamstrung salary cap wise - his game has diminished severely and he is still eating up a huge chunk of salary cap

its hurting us right now and our ability to put together a premiership list and move forward

franklin will be the same for sydney - 9 years !!! - crazy !!
