Cerra going down with hamstring tightness after 11 minutes of play following a bye raises questions.

As does players returning from injury then getting injured again, plus players getting injured in rehab

Weitering on sen today said he's on track for round 16 (saints) or 17 (eagles) so that list isn't accurate.

Would be huge if he got back for the saints game.

As per my previous posts, Jacob also stated he could have gone for the ball rather than the man…he wouldn’t be on the sidelines now if he had chosen that option. :banghead:

Yeah , listened to that interview BJ . Jeez Weiters is an impressive speaker . You could listen to the bloke all day . No doubt it was a late hit . A split second decision that you can't take back . No big deal for me BJ , just one of those things that happens a zillion times in a high pressure footy match .

Weiters technique to bump was all wrong.

Not only was it half hearted, which you should never do in a contest, but he left himself open to have DeGoeys shoulder go across and push back Weiters' shoulder.

You can't take it back, only learn from it.

Exactly. If you elect to bump you better know what you are doing and who to.

weiters said in an interview he was worried about MRC and high hits being scrutinised like never before this year (as they should be). but i agree, if you’re gonna bump, do it like you mean it.

After what Marchy has been through, a meniscus tear is the equivalent of a cancer survivor getting the sniffles.

You think Sam Docherty worries about catching a cold. No. Colds worry about catching Sam Docherty.

Marchy'll be right. Just in time for finals. Get around him.

Go baggers.

I am too.

Some of the phone calls I received from Carlton and no Carlton fans, most who know what a fit Marchbank can do were shocked too.

Meniscus ... of all things after getting over his Neck and ACL injuries ... shocking news.

Not sure how serious.

I didn’t see the Martin injury, but he had a sore calf after the game last week. Perhaps he carried the injury throughout the game tonight and they pulled him from the game late?

Durdin came back on (briefly) after he hurt his knee so hopefully that’s a sign it’s not too serious. But he’s a tall defender at Carlton, so it’s probably career ending….

He did?
He missed 2-3 games before the bye with a bloody calf injury.

I have to laugh at this, probably minor but knowing our luck he'll retire tomorrow.
