Maybe I've missed it but just at the end we were chipping the ball around and Juddy got a massive roar. I can't seem to find it in the footage, any chance of that bit? Thanks heaps.

2.40. On a 60 minute show. My sarcastic guess of 90 seconds wasn't far off!

As mentioned Roos still going on about the midfield pre-seasons is odd, but for me more so due to the fact that without doing a thorough analysis there isnt a real significant difference.

Judd v Tuck. Murphy/ Gibbs v Lids/Cotchin. Robbo was drafted a year later than Cotchin yet finished the game strongly.

Vlaustin would be the only one I could understand.

If anything you'd think they'd have the advantage with Murphy's limited pre-season and Judd on one leg, but anyway like Synbad says @#$%&! 'em....

The reason we won was our overall strength and finals experience. They came out and ran, ran, ran. We struggled to cover them for an hour of footy. But they were always going to slow and it was just a matter of whether we had the skills to finish them off.

A massive week for a team that had a collective 14 finals between them was no match for us with finals experience in almost all our players.

We'll have to deal with a Sydney team this week that won't fall over in the second half. They will run out the two hours of footy. We need to be very close to them at half time to have any chance.

..they will run and work hard all game, yes.. ..it's just after half time they won't do it very well.. ..their last 5 weeks the writing has been on the wall.. ..cooked.. ..run into the ground.. ..combination of gamestyle and injuries.. ..sure, they may very well beat us, but they're as good as knocked out, just don't know it yet..

That mark was a game saver, I would think that this bloke is in our top 5 most important players.

The courage and will to get to the ball was incredible.

According to Paul Roos, Henderson no good one on one.

Rubbish comment from Roos. Henderson has shown he is very good one on one with the high ball.
The positive is our players are starting to play "team defence"
If you watch the lead up to that mark, Henderson is playing on Vickery who leads at the ball carrier creating space behind him.
Henderson realises Vickery isnt being used and leads back to assist Jamison. Courageous mark but more importantly, a good decision to drop off an inactive player and assist a fellow defender.
Hendo did that a couple of times Sunday and just as importantly, the players are assisting him to do that role. The previous week Garlett ran off the bench and marked Hendersons opponent, releasing Hendo so he could fly as a third man up.
Great team mindset. Thats the thinking that takes years to develop and credit to the coaches (and the players) for seeing that come to fruition.

Good stuff BV. Our defenders getting caught 1 out used to frustrate me a lot - Nth game last year Petrie v Jamo in particular comes to mind but not being able to attend many games live I was unable to really see why this was unfolding.

Sitting behind the goals at the infamous Port game last year was one game where you could see our backline was a mess. Lost count the number of times we'd have too many guys go up leaving opponents on the ground, or vice versa have no-one go up only to be followed by a lot of hand on hips, finger pointing, and shaking of heads.....

Dunno BV, I've started worrying about how much Roos texts to Longmire in a game??

Check out sooky boy. His effort in this contest was pathetic.

Another positive from Sunday for me was that Waleed Aly is a very passionate Tiger supporter. So he had a GREAT weekend  .

I'm not sure if it completely breads it, but it does play a roll.

I had to go out straight after the game on Sunday so IQ's the post-game stuff on Foxtel. Watched it last night when I got bored of On the Couch.

Staggered at how many times Roosy used "pre seasons"!

So he has a ready made excuse when he goes to Melbourne then with this lack of 'pre seasons'.

Not sure if posted but did anyone else see the "thing"tigers supporter almost exploding about the Betts free kick in the last? No idea what gender it was. It was scary.
"It" had that look on its face that told you they knew they were going to lose and it just wasn't fair. Id try to find a pic if it wasn't so offensive.

We won because they had no heroes
Remember Hendo running into Reiwoldt and JAmo ball behind him running at them?
Riewoldt makes no attempt and in fact its Jamo that is in the road...
Fev would have killed Henderson.
Riewoldt was not a hero

Then we have captain Cotchin 45 meters out passes it to someone else slighly better position but on an angle...They miss!!!... Cotchin is not a hero.

Remember Murph last week? Comes in kicks a goal... goal looks easy but he started that thread from close to centre of the ground and kept going...
Murphy...goals.. 3 more BANG BANG B ANG...Murphy goals... 3 more BANG BANG BANG...
suddenly the nerves are gone...
Duigan.. no frills but goes back and kicks true!!!.. why? cos he is what MM said... a leader...!!!
MAybe woudnt make the side on talent.. but he led against Richmond!!!

Kreuzer should have punched first time.. he didnt...!!!.. it cost!!.. he learnt the second time.. it was always going to be a punch over the line.. and he spily blood doing it!!!

Its these things that win you big games!!!.. Richmond dont have them.. we need to find them.
The most talented team doesnt always win the once off games!!!

Not that Richmond are more talented.. theyre shit!!!...but they dont have any heroes!!!

Griggy was the antithesis of a hero!!

But not an anti hero.....

Martin Deledio Cotchin (who was their best) Riewoldt were the players who were their best bet to be heroes.
Instead it was guys like Vlastuin (Great kid ) and Maric..

The others didnt slip through the slip stream.... not enough hero status.

Consider they kicked the first in the second half.. and Houli comes streaming through the middle.. kicks it long... Hendo taps to Walker walker repels.. soon we have a goal and from 32 points up theyre 26 points up.. but we also get the next 4 goals i think it was.

From that point on momentum has shifted...

Suddenly we have the run.. Duigan goals.. then he hands off another to Garlett..
They stop being brave and hold the ball up to control a final..

Finals are about balls!!!.. big fuken balls!!!...

Richmond no clue!!!!

I think MM is learning alot about our team and players this year.. and is also learning abou t himself!!!

Big fuken balls... fuken!!!

This is finals!!!
