great effort considering some of the crap the blues have dished out this year.

Pratt is getting us there, and 35K is fantastic

If our performance improves over the next few years do you think we can hit the 40K mark with the total of members. I think by 2010 and we are playing finals football this is reachable.

Also how many unsigned members are there from last year?

I had to sign up the wife and two grandkids to help get us past the record..... and two out of that lot are closet Bombers fans. They are in for a pleasant surprise when the membership packages arrive    I thought the memberships would be useful when we venture to Melbourne in August in time for the Blues v Bombers rematch - the first since our 47 point comeback. (Try wearing your Bombers colours to the S Kernahan room now Mrs NT!!!)

I hope shes not reading this (insert coward emoticon here.)

Stkilda 30,950 Carlton 35,264 Essendon* 36,348

Fantastic effort.
Only 1084 behind Essendon*.
If we were travelling as well as them then 40,000 would not be out of reach.

If we can finish off the season with another 4+ wins and the club gets a proper campaign going over the summer, plus some positive news, sponsors ,signings, etc. then 40,000 plus will be a snap.

Well done everybody.

As per this article the membership cut-off day is tomorrow, Friday 29 June.

If you haven't done so sign up and become a member for 2007.

Tell your Carlton friends. Tell everybody. Tell your kids. Then sign them up too.

Quiet at the membership desk today...there may be one or two but I doubt that we'll get too many more

I think the membership desk has earnt their quiet time. A great effort to top 35K this year. Will be a tough gig to repeat the feat next year.

I think Michael Voss knows a thing or two about repeat efforts. Maybe he can help? :P

Nope. Signed up two people on Friday . . . so that can't be right.

Looks like that's the final number. Cracking result all things considered. Certainly puts the pressure on for next year.

An article on our membership went up on the club site this week:
http://carltonfc.com.au/Season2007/News ... wsId=47167

There's some beautiful numbers in there. Especially in relation to our younger members. That is really pleasing to see!
