Completely shambolic according to press but Cerra wants to come to us so just take press hysteria as gospel
Also Morris suggesting last week Cerra wouldn’t come if RL was coach another thing being made up probably

Surely all this media talk that we are waiting on Clarko and if he knocks us back is nonsense? Either Teague is the man for the job or he isn't. If he isn't and I don't think he is and his flower manager isn't helping, flower him off. Clarko knocks us back and board don't want RL, there are plenty of other options.

Western bulldogs made the call to trade Griffen and both moves appear to have paid dividends.

This is why we are crap though. We change coaches and leave the players ruling the roost.

What do you mean? We got rid of Tuohy, Betts, Robinson, Gibbs, Garlett, grigg and Hampson.

The real sliding-doors moment for Teague was when Longmuir, who we had enticed across from Collingwood to be our senior assistant and take over the defence, instead got the Freo job. We never did get another, new, voice in the box... Covid happened and budgets tightened... And here we are.

Agree, the different between ruthlessness and sheer stupidity seems to be lost on the Board

Still think we are doing the right thing by taking a measured and methodical approach to the report and the outworkings of the report

If it is seen as so horrendous why today when a good young player snd early draft pick tells his existing club he wants out and his preferred destination is Carlton.

We need to divorce the media hysteria and agendas that the media are setting and we refuse to adhere to and what the rest of football world think

I reckon other clubs are probably now sitting there thinking this mob hasn’t done it right for 20 years heaven help us if they start getting it right

I think we are beginning to get it right and look out

Couldn’t agree more and let’s not forget potentially 3 all Australians to be announced for the navy blues

Robbo will stay on permanent sick leave if the blues fiNally come good

Imagine a president , a united board and authentic footy dept with a head coach with a game plan and players to execute it !!

Wow someone wake me up ,

Rockliff was their captain at the time. Its a bit different when blokes leave you because they are sick of the joints politics rather than hating their coach and wanting out.

Rockliff leaving Brisbane was the best thing that happened to them.

Here's the podcast. Click on the Sam Edmunds part then click above to start it, not the video that comes up.

What I love in all this is that we have stolen the AFL's thunder ...... there's more interest in the Press on what's happening at Carlton than the start of the AFL Finals

Anyone watch channel 7 news tonight ? Cripps was going into the ground and he had a reporter shoving a microphone into his face . Cripps was all class . Restrained himself beautifully . But he did take a little swipe at Pickering and his conflict of interest . And if you want to piss Pickering off call him Leon instead of Liam . Thats it then , its Leon from now on .

Tom Morris also reported at the same time , that if Clarko says then Carlton sticking with Teague , and that’s not true at all

So what a furphy of a reporter , I thought he was ok until I heard him say that about Teague tonight
