Tough decisions need to be made.

Someone at the club or outside the club with huge influence needs to identify an individual with great football knowledge, a smart operator and has the vision to guide this club with smart decisions into a new era.

I do think Mick is the person to rebuild the list but I also think Mick needs some current fresh smart people around him but specifically in development.

I think it is time for Sticks and his posse to step away from the club and allow fresh new people to take over. It's mighty concerning when you hear sticks say we need reduce the size of the board which is right but we need a person like Fraser Brown to join the board.

The current board is divided. One half of the board are about saving face and the other are about change. The boards decision to not trade Kruezer last year was influenced by those who are more concerned about the clubs image and not the future...... This pretty much sums up where we are at.

I remember shaking my head in disbelief upon hearing the new stand at Princes Park was to be called the John Elliott Stand. To me it said power and money was all that mattered at Carlton, that the culture was seriously damaged.

Ah s%^&, they're starting to talk about last nights match on 774, I've gotta turn off the radio and get out of here, I can't stand to listen.

The funny thing was the so called ELLIOTT STAND was barely a stand at all.
They wanted to build corporate boxes, but in order to get approval and also funding from other sources they needed a minimum number of seats included in the design so that the structure can be classed as a stand rather than a building. And so they snuck in a few hundred seats in the far right hand corner. They also re furbished the seating arrangements in front of the Elliott stand and included them.

technically its a building, with corporate boxes and meeting rooms inside. And it really didn't add to the atmosphere of the ground, but added a lot of debt...How many ordinary members got access to the Elliott stand in games?

Lets not mention the Legends Stand

It's only Carlton fans who see Carlton as a big, proud club. Fans of other clubs have been sniggering at us for the best part of two decades.

Watch someone's expression when you mention you're a Carlton fan and you'll see pity in their eyes. Carlton simply isn't a club that invokes envy or respect. Hasn't been for a long, long time.

Some of that pity isn't really pity but envy....

But you're correct, we don't command much respect in the Sporting World any more - both on and off the field.

Bombers have a lot to look forward to soon - and it wont be pretty.

(at least they have closed down the hatches and at least put up a positive front and played some competitive footy - but then again the Mafia also do this when the cops move into their operations, why wouldn't the worlds number one drug cheating sporting organization do the same?)

YOUNG Charlie is facing a long, hard road as a sports fan.
In church on Sunday, the boy penned a letter to Jesus seeking answers as to why his New York Mets were struggling once again in Major League Baseball.

“Dear Jesus. Why did you make the Mets so bad? Love Charlie,” the letter read.

The Mets won the most recent of their World Series titles in 1986, during which time their far more successful neighbours the Yankees have won five.

This season the Mets have won two games and lost four, to sit dead last in the National League East.

Young Charlie is still awaiting a response.

There's now a generation of kids who associate Carlton with being on the bottom of the ladder.

Well it's up to you apathetic supporters to make your kids love them. Geez, does the club have to do EVERYTHING!?!

Hey I've subjected Agro Jr and Ms Agro to 20 years of crap, it would have been better to load them up with a boogie board bag full of weed and send them off to Bali, they'd be back by now and they wouldn't have missed anything.

Top Four H&A finishes since 1995 - 1
Drought since Top Four berth - 14 years (longest of any team, equal with Melbourne)

It's not that I liked the programme, much preferred Kirk, McCoy, Spock and Co. That gives us 1968, I suppose, but did it air in Aus back then? :?

I havent said a bad word about Stephen Kernahan or the Board because I had a sneaky belief that he was buiding up something special in our 150th Anniversary year.

He's had a decade to get to the pointy end in 2014. You know...the big rebuild Elliot denied was a Carlton thing.

No @#$%&! excuse.

Gibbs contract discussion and Kernahan's list have all the focus of the media in our most impotant year for along time....not our envious history and great achievements, let alone players.

I cant believe Kerna hasnt been able to sign up his mates son (Gibbs) to a contract prior to the big Anniversary. The same son who is committed to being a one club player. I cant believe he hasnt been able to build a Top 4 list after all the no 1 picks, no 2 picks and tope 10 picks let alone a plethora of 2nd and 3rd rounders.

My 6 yo and 10 yo cant believe that Peter Bosustow hasnt made the list of 150 greatest.
My kids love Carlton but cant believe we havent won a game in our important year.

I could go on....I feel for my kids...they are a bit oblivious to the media and social media negativity towards our once great club...they saw 360 last night...enough is enough....the kids are hurting...whilst the players play bruise free footy.

Oh wait, but this week Murphy says the players are going to be aggressive against a bottom team with kids. My 6 yo says that should be an easy win for us. What if we lose?

The club will bully the baby demons and think all is rosy again. Bullies is all I can think of them. Bullies. They want to TRY against the Demons.

Pathetic to be honest. How low have we come?

Thanks Stephen Kernahan.....the buck finishes with you. You havent got a win on the board since you wwere President...who cares about Elimination finals we should have won, and one we shouldnt have even been playing in.

This team off and on field are the ost overated hopeless bunch of Gen Y woosies I have ever seen since 1968.

My family will NOT spend another cent on this club of Toffs till we become a bonafide Top 4 team. We've sponsored them through the dark decade and enough is enough...what a waste of money.

This shits me.
Just like a year 12 kid who can't match it with his peers so he steals a year 7 kid's lunch money and feels like a big man.

Almost hope Melbourne win to wake everyone at the club up.

Yep, me too. I never say anything bad about Kernahan. After all, he was a great player, the third best captain we've had, the third best CHF, the third best FF, and the worst flower president. But he did have a great mullet, I'll give him that. And he loves a beer - good on him. And it's not like he's ever tried to kill anyone. Means well. Nah, you'll never find me bagging him.
