I missed the interview but read somewhere that Fev said he wanted to stay, but wife said lets go.....

Interesting that Gerard reads the comment "When you kick the first goal next year it will all be forgotten" as a direct quote from his notes so it's not like he was paraphrasing another comment that may have been made at the time.

I assume from the eyebrows raised that this is the first time anyone around here has heard or read such a quote, so the question now is where did Whately get this from?

What a shame the big 25 didn't change his mind and stay at the Blues because boy we could use him now and premiership 17 could have been a little bit closer.
