A little too much change for my liking so I'm nervous.

Hopefully it's system/structure vs missing personnel.

Simply do not want to lose to this mob. Especially after all the utter crap that I've had to put up this week. Seems everyone over here that I've spoken to are pretty much expecting to beat us tomorrow. Confident about it too...

Yep, it's a major rivalry over here against these guys. A strong mutual hatred up there with the likes of other Vic clubs. You have to live here to know the full extent but they are certainly pretty sure of themselves for tomorrows game.

A few outs but this sides still good enough!

B: Zac Touhy, Michael Jamison, Paul Bower
HB: Chris Yarran, Mark Austin, Bryce Gibbs
C: Kade Simpson, David Ellard, Heath Scotland
HF: Jeffrey Garlett, Lachlan Henderson, Ryan Houlihan
F: Andrew Walker, Matthew Kreuzer, Eddie Betts
Foll: Robert Warnock, Chris Judd, Marc Murphy
I/C: Jordan Russell, Andrew Carrazzo, Dennis Armfield, Rhys O’Keeffe

The bonus is a lot of these guys are given a rare chance and must play well to hold their spots.

Next week Waite, Laidler, Duigan, Robinson, Thornton, Curnow could all be available!

What's the story with Thornton?
Too many outs for my liking, not at all confident about this game. LeCras is the one i am worried about, and JK of course.

These sorts of game will really tell how much we have improved. Will the structures and game plan stand up with 4 changes? I think it will.

I'm very confident that those who have come in will pick up where the others have left off. The standards have been set so the intensity levels have to be up to what is now the norm. I'm sure they will be.

Go Blues, go ROK, go Ozzie (if you are playing).

Regards Cazzesman

Probably comes as no shock to anyone, but all these injuries suddenly sprouting up in the space of a couple of weeks (and even in the last few days) has me very concerned. ESPECIALLY down back coming up against one of the most dangerous forward lines in the competition.

I'm weary of the eagles.

What is giving me cofidence in a win though, a big win, is the amount of quality players available for selection next week. This is what makes a good team a great team. No room for complacency today.

Go Baggers! Blues by 37 pts.

I'm leaning more towards RoK starting instead of Armfield. With Curnow and Robbo out we've lost a heap of grunt around the packs, RoK can replace this with his size. Ellard to run with Kerr will be important to limit his impact.

Hoping Aussie plays well, I think CHB can be his for the year now,in place of T-Bird who has been pretty good this year.

Our core group of stars are playing, this will be the difference in the end.

Injuries are the main reason sides go backwards.
This really challenges what depth we have
Godd to see Austin get a game. Might be his last chance. he has the tools to be a good player. Needs a big one. Good to see ROK play. I llike guys that can kick a footy properly

What's up with TBird?

Are we up shit creek injury wise or just managing players carefully?

Injuries didn't stop the Hawks winning by 65 points. We should still win. The Eagles haven't won in Melbourne this year have they?

I agree but just wondering if we are dropping like flies or just exercising careful list management :)

No: Duigan, Curnow, Hampson, Thornton & Robinson, from last week and the continued absence of Waite, Laidler, o'hAilpin, Collins.
OMG this could be Essendon* B.R.A.V.E. :donk:

Five changes for injury, (if it eventuates) would be almost a non-tanking record for AFL. The mid-seaon Dome games whilst lovely for aquaphobic parent fans like me, seem to shred our playing list.
Ed Curnow said in the post match last week the next two weeks would be lighter training loads, and maybe the fade out by the Ants, Jammo's book club, Rye Hot Springs "change up" and numerous injury outs suggests we have flogged them a bit and the E-girls might be a chance at $4.50.

Geeezzzzz there are some worry warts on this site.

1 week many are raving about our depth and the next those same are concerned that the depth players have to play. Make up your mind. You aren't going to win a GF without 28-30 players who can cut it when the pressure is on so now is the perfect time to see who can/will stand up to some quality opposition.

I think it is great to get some fresh blood in to keep the intensity up. What better way than to have some youth bought in who want to grab their chance and not let go. Apparently ROK was like a 5 yr old in a lolly shop when he was told he was playing. I'm sure he will go well.

Warnock knows what he is doing. Houlihan will be back in. Army gives 110%. T-Bird is playing. JR was back to some good form last week. I can't see the WC defenders slowing up our blistering forwardline.

Regards Cazzesman

Good call.

As Hawthorn showed us on Friday night, it doesn't matter what names are out there at the end of the day its 22 v 22. If you play hard and apply enough pressure it won't matter who isn't playing.
