Any chance Teague stays and we wait a year for Clarko ?

Don’t buy into this business that Teague doesnt know and will be told tomorrow.

Not sure how he stays after the comments about the club and Cripps yesterday.

Teague cant coach and if we wait, we will waste another year.

Oh geez my head hurts…..

I don’t think there is any chance of that to be honest
We can’t wait another 12 months going backwards and how would it be if that was the case and next year we are 0-2 with Teague after losing to Richmond and then whoever we play in the second round
We always are pleased with our effort in the first round even if we don’t win and then not turn up the next week
Also imagine if in the first 2 games we continue to haemorrhage goals

No things much change just to give us mugs some hope so we put our hand in our pockets to be members

He said that he wasn’t aware that Cripps had any leg issues before the game. And he chose to handball instead of kick, therefore contributing to us not being able to spread. He said thats where we need to get better in the leadership side of things.

I think he was implying he played injured and wasn’t a leader to admit as such before the game.

Not word for word, but this is a summary.

DT stated in his presser last night that he was gone. Was I the only person who heard that?

Teague said, after he was asked a injury coming into the game was as dismissive as when he reckon he never knew Cripps had a back injury

And then he said for the next 10 years , it’s weiters , Walsh and McKay club now to take it forward

But weird when Cripps will be here for the next 6 and is his captain , and is not even mentioned in the same sentence

True

Also if Teague stays next year, it will be a repeat of the intense media scrutiny on his coaching post given he's in his last year of a contract.

Don't need another media circus about the coach.

Maybe DT knows what some of the players (specifically Cripps) said about him, confidently of course to review body.

Cripps wasn’t a fan when he was first appointed , and Teague has known this

Carlton finished with 1972 points against - second worst in the competition.

So Teague's papers were definitely stamped when Cripps re-signed

Pretty much I would say ,

Cripps will be happier come tomorrow night.but it means nothing if he Doesn’t get back to his form that made him a superstar

Or maybe his form is a function of the misalignment with Teague????
