Won't the draft be live on Foxtel?

Completely different body shape.

Collins seems to be in proportion, very broad shoulders.

Seems a much better 1 on 1 player as well, thrives on the physical contest.....

Collins would be another wasted pick in a wasteland of wasted picks.. As in my opinion would be McKay

Agree with you Synbad re McKay

Not sure about Colllins. Positive last 12 months improving his run - however any 18 year old weighing in at 100 kg would have to be exceptional

Those speculative beanpoles who will be the next Paul salmon end up as tall flankers and delisted are a killer.
They're not all going to be daniher or Moore

Chances are they are going to be Hampson.

There's only two kids from U18 level who would be drafted as rucks in the national draft this year, excluding the McKay twins and Hipwood, who barely play ruck.

Why you excluding them when you're not even including them Jim?

Because I assume you were hinting at McKay with your comments.

Chol and Nyuon are the only who have regularly played ruck and could play ruck at senior level likely to go in the draft.

We have five ruck prospects at the club we don't need more.
We do need potent forwards no matter the size. I'm saying the beanpole types are a worry in conjunction with what were have accumulated already on our list and is we keep finding more beanpoles beanpoles will be the new hbfers.
On top of that I think our list already looks weird.. So we better find some equilibrium in this draft

Wood is gone at the end of the year; Korcheck is outside both the senior and rookie lists and is a free hit that's unlikely to make it.

Gorringe has been picked up as a forward who can impact in ruck spells, which basically leaves Kreuzer, Phillips and Casboult on the senior list. So in 2018, I only expect Kreuzer and Casboult to still be on the list.

If we have pick 59 or 60 and Nyuon and Chol are there, I expect us to bid/select one, because we need a long term solution. I'd expect us to rookie Darcy Cameron otherwise.

The only 'stringbean' forwards in line for our picks are either 2 metres tall or SOS's kid, who is going to be worth pick nothing.
