Carlton turn to jelly and sack our ONCE in a generation full forward and crowd pulling supper star, largely because of the pressure applied by the Carlton hating arseholes in the media. The very same Carlton hating media arseholes, who would drink the sweat from James tirds drugging cheating crack. THEY have been laughing at us for a long time.

I know its all history, and we could have done well in the trade, but we didn't. Someone largely stuffed that up too.

So our culture is crap because we got rid of Fev?

WOW....

you are right.

I said it the and I say it now .... we should have traded Fev to West Coast and kept Pick 1 and Kennedy .... PIck 3 and Fev, for Judd would have been a fair trade.

Still .... I am a big fan of Lachie!! but another Pick 1 and Kennedy could have lead to a very different side and history the last few years ...

(hindsight is a wonderful thing ... we simply have sucked at trades, picks and player developments the last 10 years)

No, we did what the Carlton hating media wanted us to do. They demanded action over Fev's drunken escapades, and we did what they demanded. Its not about Fev, it's about being bent over.

Anyway, we got good compensation at the time (i was happy with Hendo and pick 11). Who wouldn't have been.

Ok, so things aren't looking good atm, it's gonna take some seriously shrewd recruiting and development of our players to get us out of this mess... Unfortunately I've accepted that bottom 4 finishes may be the best thing for us these next couple of years to get some talent onto our list and and it pains me to say that. Really pissed at our leaders starting from the top and as much as I haven't always agreed with you Synners a lot of your predictions have come true.

Btw To the Ratten fans, you forget the flakiness the team had, I can report at least one ex player can't stand him relating to a severe breach of trust, this breach was serious and I won't go into detail but without a doubt Ratts staying on would have been toxic for the group.

Synbad where would you start apart from the obvious (board, recruitment etc). What do you think would be good strategies for Carlton to make to become a force again?

Give the messiah a massive salary
Give the messiah time to assess the list
Give the messiah 3 year to get rid of the dead wood and build the list, he deserves that
Give the messiah time to teach these dodo’s (no offence dodo) his game plan
Give the messiah his ex-gum cronies on magic salaries because we need leadership
Give the messiah his support staff he wants so we can excel in fitness and knowledge
Give the messiah no responsibility to perform his duties
Give the messiah a faultless list so he can coach
Give the messiah a new board and administration so he can concentrate with on field issues
Give the messiah an extension to finish his refurbishment
Give the messiah an extension so we are all focused on the real issues
Give the messiah FA so he can build a list :sly:

He has been given everything he has asked for and still he screams and cries like a toddler that has lost his dummy

Give me a f!@#$%^ break, the guys an embarrassing has been who has depleted our resources with nothing to show for it

Give him the !@#$%^ boot and let someone that has heart and soul do the job that micky can’t do

IF MICK Malthouse wants that contract extension he is spruiking so publicly, he might have to go against 30 years of coaching instinct.

Malthouse was adamant after Friday’s diabolical defeat he won’t wave the white flag and start playing a handful of kids for future development.

He clearly believes he can coach his way out of trouble by playing his best possible side, regardless of the numbers on their birth certificate.

He's never been at a club like ours.

I reckon he'll play the kids ONLY if he reckons it might save his job.

How ridiculous is this that in round 2 articles are suggesting to play the kids like the season is over.
This club needs a breath of fresh air. I would be happy to play the kids the rest of the season and not win a game as long as l don't hear his dribble. Start of the season, l can't see us losing a game. Now we are in disarray and we have a million issues.

I think the only people on this site that are happy for MM to stay are the people that don't pay memberships. I really love pissing $700 down the drain!!!

It's a moot point, because beyond Armfield and Walker - worthy selections on form - what's currently at the selection table is kids; players 23 or under.

This is the same Ralph that stated on national TV that White went into the WCE game under an injury cloud because his knee was strapped.

White's knee has been strapped since 2011 you twit.
