Malthouse does have some new support on the training track, with former Collingwood and North Melbourne spearhead Saverio Rocca joining the club as a part-time coach to help Carlton's forwards, led by Levi Casboult, improve their output.

Cue people focussing on Rocca being ex-Collingwood and not the fact that he's 13th on the AFL/VFL goal kicking ladder and might know a think or two about straight kicking.

I'm more concerned about the fact he's spent the past decade using a different ball and different kicking action with an emphasis on "hang-time"...

Combining the two, dare I say that the Tradition continues.

Here's what I did not like about MM's message to us this week.

1/we lost White..if he's a key player now, we are beyond repair.
2/blah blah blah we need to stand up...actions Mick..the time for cliches is well past.
3/ Leaders need to take control in key moments when we lose momentum.
..yes but......we were in control, and then the players started chip chipping the bloody ball around until we lost control. they did this several times.
if that's a game plan strategy..it's time MM that you took a good hard look at your own coaching, as well as hanging it on injuries, the players, the players we didn't get etc. etc.

one minute you say if you don't believe the boys can win every game, how will they?
nek minut...oh, we are a mid to bottom side and no one wants to go near us.

just shut up and do your over paid job.

I think I'm having a dummy spit here....

yes..
I think I was..

stopped now

hard to breathe...

oh dear.

hey, it's just our beloved club on the skids
that's all

no biggie.

these things didnt crystalise in the last 2 years.... they were years in the making

things like this dont become inoperable in 2 years...

Seemed to have missed out Mick's name as well as his assistants, fitness staff and favourite player Synbad.

Just an oversight no doubt.

Sorry if I missed it, but did you reveal, or at least give us a clue, regarding your sources?

Don't need sources Synbad.

MM is running the show, buck stops with him.

nobody .. says hes not..

but the players were not fans of mitch and garlett .. starting with judd...

whos saying malthouse wanted to keep him but the players mutineed?

just he(they) was never going to get more chances because they fell off with their peers.. first of all judd.

lol
are you arguing with that???

yes, hard to argue

micky can't adjust and has made all wrong choices
just trying to sell himself
never takes responsibility

I can't understand how in gods name his players like him, all he does is shift blame
but then again doesn't look like they do

agreed he's contradicted himself from the moment CFC contacted him about our coaching position.

he said with Ratten's roster he could go top four and beyond.

he said we were 11 o'clock on our prem window

he bought daisy, sold betts to take us to 12 o'clock he said.

then the list isn't up to par.

mass turnover after his 1st year.

we start to improve and just miss out on finals last year

more tweaks with older, mature-age draftees to "compliment what we already have which is 'close' ..."

now 2 games into this season and its woe is me, good players don't want to come here. our list is shit.

the guy is driving me insane with his flip-flopping and excuse making.

he has not been honest at any point with himself or us, since he's taken the coaching reigns ... and for that he needs to either become honest, take full accountability and reset & rebuild.

or get outta here.

Is it dishonesty or has he just been totally clueless all along.

The latter isn't as preposterous as it sounds.

It was a difficult list to work with when he arrived. He just didn't see it.

So all this bullshit about the players liking mick, has now changed. These players don't like anyone do they? Maybe we should get someone from project runway to coach us.... Have a hairdresser as an assistant, and a clothes designer as the second assistant. We will be cooking with gas then. We can give the opposition the 'blue steel, and freak them out into playing shit so we can win a game.

IIRC, Sav was doing a pre season with us after he left Collingwood, hoping to be picked up by the Blues. But North gazumped us.

Carlton turn to jelly and sack our ONCE in a generation full forward and crowd pulling supper star, largely because of the pressure applied by the Carlton hating arseholes in the media. The very same Carlton hating media arseholes, who would drink the sweat from James tirds drugging cheating crack. THEY have been laughing at us for a long time.

I know its all history, and we could have done well in the trade, but we didn't. Someone largely stuffed that up too.
