In coming weeks the Club will determine the make-up of an independent selection committee that will begin the process of finding the best equipped individual to coach Carlton in 2016 and beyond. This committee will consider only the best candidates for the role. It will be a genuine and exhaustive process.

Hopefully they will announce who is on the committee when the time comes.

Just remember folks, the last time and only time as far as i know we had an interview process we landed Wayne Hughes.................this club should determine who it wants as coach and go get him.Interviews deliver you a good talker, someone who sells themselves well..............if this board dont know by now who they want to coach then im worried even more.

Can you imagine if we landed clarkson and two and a half years up the track MLG sacked him.
Clarko would run over and break his jaw with the biggest snipe ..
I don't think it wise to chase clarko

We the Carlton Football Club have been put back 10 years ... 2.5 years of the Madhouse has damaged not only the brand but has gutted the players and destroyed the fabric of the club. Worse still ... we are the laughing stock of the league. Good going guys ... What a dumb decision it was to appoint him and now we have to face the consequences.

Oh well ... turning my attention to the Ashes and to try to completely forget the car wreck that is Carlton.

Seriously, will it make any difference?
I hope the next coach will turn us around... but i just cant see it... where do you start.. It's too broken.
Whats else is going on here. What are some of our players thinking? Are they for real? I doubt it.
They earn so much dough.. and it looks like a number of them couldn't give a flog.
So are they going to display some endeavor for a new coach.. and not just play for the coin (as it seems they do).
Why should i invest my time and money in a club that is basically a big bag of bulldust. A heartless joint.. a vehicle for some jokers to be paid a lot of money for questionable output. To waste my time on a near meaningless cog in the AFL's money making machine. I wish i could turn the clock back and watch Carlton with anticipation and excitement of yesteryear. It may not be possible these days, some of our players have not played with heart for years now. The rot has set. Sweep the joint out.

Given we're going down the Fitzroy path how about giving Allan McConnell another go.

Met him by chance during the off-season at a wine tasting event, nice guy. I tried to get him to give me some inside word on SOS and he played a very straight bat. So, if nothing else, at least we know he wouldn't be a sneaky leaker.
