Well since everyone was on the same page, it's time Malthouse and the players show us how well they get along with each other at start performing. They now have 21 weeks left.

I hope LG does not re-sign anyone, including assistants until the end of the year. If MM doesn't like it, then maybe he better start winning or looking to move all his buddies and disciples to another club come 2016. Simple.

Honestly cannot see us winning any of the first 5 games. Something (or someone) will have to give. Question is - Who would want to come to Carlton? It certainly could not be any of the current crew.

That's facts based on the formula at the time. The formula has since changed.

Some here thought we had turned the corner 2nd half of last year.
I thought our 2nd half improvement came about because Judd came back .
The fall has be rapid since MM arrived.
And you could see it coming.

The improvement in 2nd half of 2014 was more than just Judd coming back and you know it.
Anyway, we ll see what happens from here on in.
I'm prepared to reserve my judgement for a while yet.

Improvement in the second half of 2014.
Have we fallen so far that we're lauding 3 wins from our last 13 games including 103 and 71 point losses in our last 7 games.
@#$%&! me dead.

Nah it was the three wins and a draw from the last eight games. With two close losses to Freo and Geelong. And yep, a couple of thrashings, too - both against final four teams.

Ah, I see. "Second half". I took posters to mean the back end of the season when they said second half. That's what I meant anyway. Should've been more specific.

You are going to be horribly let down
This side is in very bad shape.
Granted the list isnt flash
We only have
3 x No 1
2 x No 2
1 x No 3
1 x No 6
1 x No8
On the list we lost pick 5 and 9 last year.
Even with our apparent lack of quality you would think we would develop a game structure that is for modern day football.
But you can see tge players are either not following instructions or are confused.
We could very well finish last

Yep ... either the wrong message is getting through to the players OR the players just don't understand it. Either way the Madhouse needs to lift his game. We have gone backwards rapidly since he took over. It was always a DUMB decision to appoint him and now its coming back to bite us.

Tonight, I was hearing SEN whilst driving home and the question was asked " What is the pass mark for Carlton? "...

The Presenter which I can not remember his name said the only pass Mark for the Blues is the complete removal of the Board, the Coach and an overhaul clean up of the playing list. It is the only Acceptable Pass Mark. Anything less and you will have the Same crap dished out every year.

Interesting.
Thanks for sharing that with us.

Appreciate all the information we can to make TC a rich footy focussed site instead of one full of pot shots towards posters and nothingness.

I'm confused with this club.

There has been changes of late to President CEO coach.
Is the issue the coach or the board or both.
I'm sure like me there's a huge and growing percentage of supporters/ members despondent and on the edge of giving up their passion towards Carlton .

The rubbish we have had to endure since 2002 is too long for any human.
What are the membership numbers for perennial cellar dwellers Doggies, Saints, Demons?
I liked what I saw of Doggies Saints and Dees over the weekend.

Don't need sources Synbad.

MM is running the show, buck stops with him.

nobody .. says hes not..

but the players were not fans of mitch and garlett .. starting with judd...

whos saying malthouse wanted to keep him but the players mutineed?

just he(they) was never going to get more chances because they fell off with their peers.. first of all judd.

lol
are you arguing with that???

So jeddie and garlett were both 40goal+ scorers.
Majority of time in our top 3 except for last yr. If a player is getting distracted or not motivated or not happy, then isn't it the coaches job to manage those players and get them motivated. Mitch and Jeffrey were both in mm dog house last yr and got in a fight near end of season Because they simply didnt give a sh!t and wanted the boot. Ofcourse leadership group have to be against that and make a stand. Mick isnt the best player manager. if you cant motivate yourself to play under him then your gonsky. His only way of motivating is play you in the reserves. Old method. With modern day free agency players no longer stand for crap and if you cant motivate the players then they leave. Watch how hinkley talks to players at before the game and 1/2 time. You will know what i am talking about and why they all look motivated on field.

Guys, quick question:

How do we know Mick isn't disgruntled about the contact situation due to non-answers and no KPIs for him to hit?

I don't think he'd mind being subject to an end-of-season review, but if he feels no realistic targets are being set or the goal posts are shifting because they have cold feet, I think that's a good reason to make a ruckus if he was then further stonewalled when seeking answers.

Wouldn't you?

Think again. Malthouse blatantly refused to have his position reviewed at Collingwood.
Even when McGuire insisted and a review of the football department was instigated, Mick refused to participate.
That's the type of ego we're dealing with.
