You've got to know when to hold them, know how to hold them, know when to walk away, know when to run

McMahon must be sick of waiting for us to pick him. Essendon* want him don’t they?

That's the way.

I do not want Effendopes to get McMahon's signature.

There's no guarantees with McMahon. Same as any unknown player, but he would be a good athletic tall in defense or attack if and when needed. he offers more than Lemmey O'Farrell and O'Keefe at this stage imo.

It was Denver Grainger Barrass McKay kicked 8 goals on in intra club ... and that was in a half. Wasn't McMahon.

Signing will only be for the rest of the year, and then we can decide if his services are required come year's end. We may have some better trade targets in the pipeline.

He didnt get picked up in 2024 draft? If so, surprised.

Dogs had a good look at him for an SSP spot, but he got injured.

Apparent lack of speed was the issue. Deadline passed before he could prove otherwise.

Guys like him (and Cincotta, tbf), you bring in to raise the floor a bit. Put someone in the room that is squeezing every ounce of talent & ability out of himself just to get a sniff, and hope he rubs off on the younger blokes.

McQualter would be doing himself a disservice if he doesn’t get him over to the west.

Surely Dawson from Southport would be no 1 on the list
35 ,38 and 40 disposals and ranked 1 in all 3 games this year
Plus has size about him

You can never have to many ball winners

He does kick goals in the VFL. He kicked one in the GF last year.

He seems to do well against weaker teams in the VFL like of Bullants and Frankston, Coburg.
I think he goes missing in many games.

IMO he's not as a prolific goal kicker than our own McMahon. Not in the Chris Burgess league of forwards.

He's in hot form.

I reckon he'd be better than Evans, and if Evans deserves a spot on our list ...

INJURED BLUES YET TO START TALKS

CARLTON had yet to kickstart contract talks with sidelined pair Nic Newman or Brodie Kemp before the duo suffered their long-term injury setbacks, with both coming towards the end of their deals at Ikon Park. – Riley Beveridge

Carlton's George Hewett will soon be off the free agency list as he gets closer to hitting a trigger for next year. – Callum Twomey

Wouldn't be sad to see Motlop, McGovern, and Wilson gone from our list.

Times up for Docherty, Haynes and Fantasia.
