I'm glad it went the way it did tonight. Deflate some of the ridiculous hype surrounding the team. Top 4! Pfft!!!
We've got a long way to go. We still have too many downhill types and guys who don't have the discipline to defend. Mick's got his work cut out!

Bye bye season after 5 weeks.

weren't we 7 and 1 after 8 last year - & look how that ended up FFS!!

0 and 5 might be just what the doc ordered (just not Dank FFS)

Looked like Jamison had a problem with his knee.

Jamo went off late with a tweaked knee. No word yet?

Otherwise, all good.

Was worried about Jamo but came back on very late in the game. So surely he is ok?

Far too many high bombs into the fwd line. Killed by the BNE backs. Would be nice to have some lead up forward action...
Lucas plenty but tardy disposal & tackles need to stick. Better from Tuohy in his attack & I thought Duigan ended the game well.
It is the pre-season so week off and re-load with a better performance against Richmond....

Scary thought - it was our best side, with exception of Jeffie G, ,Laidler, Warnock and perhaps Bell (Waite can't be counted on)

im with u teague, big deal, we lost, we were shit, so have hawks and sydney been in much easier games and it means very little in terms of the proper season........... may be 'slightly' indicative, but history shows there's been very little pattern between pre and real season RESULTS.

Jamo's knee?? Looked jarred to me if anything, Judd def looked tight in the strings.

scotland waite jeffrey laids & bell & warnock would make a big diff to that side.

hendo/duigan?tuohys form is most questionable for mine after tonight, and where the faaaaark was betts in the 2nd half

Looks damning when you play such a tall side and the tone of the whole night was 'bomb long to carlton tall - ball comes to ground - Brisbane rebound - Brisbane have scoring opportunity'

Hoping that wasnt reflective of what we're in for over the first few rounds. We looked @#$%&! awful.. but not too concerned - will look a lot better when structured correctly. And bring Garlett back ffs.

A very soft performance tonight by the team....

Say what you will about it being a pre season game etc but the fact is we wanted to win and got smashed.

The warning signs were there, never felt comfortable with tonights game....

Yep - limited rotations, and we play the one extra tall that we use a sub on, and play gut runners Curnow and Joseph on the bench until 10 minute mark of the last.
