I think you're right about him; although my memory of him was as being more redheaded than that pic.

I recall that one year; he was dominating each game for us in the centre so much; that he led the first half of the Brownlow count that year....74/75?

Pretty sure number 2 is Greg Towns - he might have polled 9 Brownlow Medal Votes (ie. 3 best on grounds) in 1978 or 79.

I am still sticking with Darren Tarczon for Number 1 though - dont think the nose is big enough or crooked enough to be Shane Robertson.

I'm pretty sure I have a bead on who Number 8 might be - I recognise the person in the bottom right hand corner of the picture which dates it to the early 80s, will check a couple of my old Carlton Annual Reports from that time and will probably get it later tonight unless someone beats me to it today - because as you can see I am back at work today and am spectacularly busy.
