I'm not updating the thread title again until we make 47,000! :lol:

I haven't renewed our two memberships yet. Have had maybe two reminder emails from the club.

Essendon* have been sending emails, texts and letters as well as calling my phone trying to get me to renew the membership that one of the kids has decided he doesn't want to continue.

I wonder if the A.F.L will agree to our M.C.G demands ie 8 MCG games and 3 ETIHAD.I will be surprised if we get our wish more likely to be 7/4 or 6/5. Not getting to 50000 hasnt helped .
I hope the club stands up for itself we have been treated with contempt with the draw,which hasnt helped our membership. ( nor how we have been playing hasnt helped either )

We are blaming the AFL for our fall in membership this year.
We have told them that due to our fixture this year, particularly the start of season, our membership has dropped.

At the rate we are moving now should be at least 47,100 by the end of the week!

If the two thousand people who attended the 150th anniversary dinner took out an additional membership, we'd still be short of 50,000 members.
