We've happily gone months without seeing these friends in the past :banghead:

Just saw the trees outside in south Melbourne do the harlem shake.... Marking could be tricky inside the G tonight...

It's no better at East Melbourne. I'd swap Hammer for Bell. Casboult can give Kreuze a rest every now and then.

So we'd have a zero tall forward forwardline?

Get used to Bootsma like selections, it's one of the great things Malthouse brings to the table....undying faith in young blokes to make their mark.

Even if Boots goes crap tonight I expect to see him in the team for at least the first 3-4 rounds...early rounds for us aren't against Mickey Mouse opposition either which is the way Malthouse seems to like it

I reckon it's great he's getting a go. He's got all the weapons to be a really good AFL player. The sooner we can get games into him the better. I probably would say the same about Bell. But hopefully he gets a go soon.

Interesting that Duigan is preferred to Laidler at this stage.

Me too. I would have had him in ahead of Duigan.

They have a great midfield and ours doesnt always turn up to play.

They have a talented but media-inflated midfield. Cotchin is nearly always good. But Deledio and Martin are talented but flakey.

Got a bit damp walking to the ground but plenty of blue sky and a light breeze in the upper deck of Ponsford Stand.

Hope we play well tonight. If we do the result should look after itself.

Nahas the sub. Good for us. He can be dangerous. I wonder if Joseph was brought in for him?
