I think what it shows, is that we now have some depth when you think about those still missing.

Bower will win more 1 on 1's than he loses. Fingers crossed those he loses won't result in goals

If our forwards can't run rings around their defense I'd be very surprised. The Tigers listed back 6, aside from Newman who is very good, are just ordinary players at best. Waity should play Post on a break. The 2 amigos will have tooooo much toe for their opponents. Clearances at stoppages are crucial and getting onballers back into defense to take space away from big Jack.

Regards Cazzesman

You wouldn't think we had a fwd line reading all the "Jack's-gunna-get-us" previews. Who will hold Waite? Who will play on Hammer and Kruze when they are fwd? Eddie and Jeff??????????

But who are our exit players?????

Sorry just had to work "exit player" into a comment, all the footy heads are using the term now.

I miss "front and square".

I like the run out the back half with army Yaz and Bower and even Hendo likes a gallop
All like to run and carry if the ball hits the deck it will flying out

Some fellow by name of Tuohy goes O.K. also and could give Yarran a run for his money in the speed stakes.
Armfield may actually take Nahas giving us that little extra height around the back half.

best part about that line up is Emerg: DAVIES.

I'm more than happy for him to be the 23rd man each week.

Good looking team.

Not worried one iota about the preseason: tomorrow the real stuff starts.

Haven't posted in the appropriate thread yet, but that name Hampson keeps popping up in my head and I really think he can enhance his reputation as an all rounder ruck- forward. If the quality of ball to him is as good as what Jack receives on the other end he is going to be hard to stop. He only needs 6 opportunities to kick a bag. Good luck to him.

Vickery bothers me because of the height advantage, but I like Bower in one on one's: always have. I really hope he kicks on in 2012, ditto Russell.

Who the @#$%&! is going to stop Garlett Betts and Robbo in the forwardline? No one. And I expect them to be rotated in the midfield to mix it up, giving us of the things to come in 2012.

Waite will be Best after one of our midfielders.

Really good lookin team. I hope Laidler plays...and so say all of us.

Gotta get onto that plane..it is going to be a great win.

Relax BBW ... all is good.

I don't know what I see in Bower that obviously many don't, but I want to go on record one
more time : This bloke will be a gun. I reckon that by the middle of the season his praises
will be sung long and loud.

And it starts tomorrow.

YEAH!!!!

interesting that tigers have only gone in with 1 ruckman meaning that vickery will need to spend time in there. should def free up thornton to go forward if laidler does play.
should also mean big kreuzer will come into his own as the game goes on.

look forward to driving home tomorrow night and listening to the ferals ring in sen and talk about sticking their memberships in the microwave

go blues.

The only way I see us losing this game is if we're thinking about the grand final parade and not the tiggies.

Seriously, we are stronger in all parts of the ground and should have a comfortable night.

No excuses...

Agree.

It's been 11 days of previewing, Richmond whose 22 is apparently Cotchin, Martin, JRoo, Vickery, a gun third tall and 'we have a ruckman' vs Carlton whose 22 is a heap of missing players + Bower.

All we need is for him to figure out where the ball is going to drop. If he can do that the amigos have a chance.
