I've been backing the membership department as I thought Mrs Pratt would have brought in the changes, but it doesn't appear so.

The number is great when you consider it is a new record, but I expected more on the promise of the season.

They haven't called me either.

I usually buy quite a few memberships (5 game mostly) for friends and extended family, baby blues and junior blues for my friends' kids (whether they like it or not)...and some are now Carlton supporters, and of couse me and my nuclear family.

Haven't done anytyhing in protest, and will buy my nuclear family their memberships, but they haven't tried very hard...not one call for my commitment.

I had tickets bought for me for the Gabba game, and with go to MCG games with MCC members. Paid at the Dome, as I sometimes do for home games despite being a member...I just do it for the club, and it doesn't worry me.

Not one call.

They should probably change the name. Call it a Sales Department. And get people in who know something about sales. Call the likes of Bondiblue and I often enough and you never know - we might be convinced. Look forward to hearing of a review of membership. It clearly needs it.

We are only going to have an additional 3000 members (if we are lucky) coming off the back of a year so full of promise in 2011 - where are the 700,000 supporters around Australia.

Top 4 and 50,000 members.

We laugh at Richmonds ambitious targets but what have we done to achieve our more modest incremental improvements.
