yes, we have been playing badly.
yes, we somehow lose our marbles when playing the bombers. and that may be grounds to tip them.

BUT, let's not lose the plot about the potential of our players:
our midfield is MUCH better than theirs.
our KP's are AT LEAST as good as theirs.
our smalls are BETTsER than theirs.

we are 7th, they are 12th!!!!!!!!!!
its our ticker that's the problem!!

Spot on.

All it takes is for our players to believe, and we'll win.

I guess we'll find out tonight if our players believe in themselves or not.

I can just imagine what the Bumbers players are thinking before the bounce.

They'd be thinking about the intensity the Blues will come out with.

That's sounds like a collision about to happen.

That sounds bloody.

Who will fold first?

We couldn't play like we did in game 1 2010. Could we?

Whatever the Bombers players are thinking about they will not come out thinking it will be easy, so in a sense they will be prepared...

I hope we maintain our intensity..

I just hope the umpires don't interfere and it's not over umpired footy.

Not so sure that we have the equal of Ryder, Hurley & Fletcher (esp with Krooz out). But I just want to see us play unsociable footy. And if we give away a few frees early, we mustn't go into our shells. Line in the sand tonight

Waite, Bower, Henderson/Hampson at least equivalent to Ryder, Hurley, Fletcher.
(Ok, Fletcher maybe takes it to their advantage a bit but he gets a lot of cheap ball... and our mids are MUCH better!)

At the end of the day, whoever wins is the better team! (Please let it be us!!!!!!!)

Did everyone see Sandy Roberts interview Sticks Kernahan on the CH7 news tonight?

Poor old Sticks doesn't speak very well; and one line I remember of his was ....."'They're good boys; and I'm sure they'll come out firing''...

...the rest was fairly predictable concerning all of the criticism this week; including a reference to "'Wallsy's article today....gee....my Premiership Coach''

Lets hope they do fire, mate..........

Think I've already drunk enough red wine ... this could be dire, folks, if things don't go well.

The media scrutiny will count for nothing if the players don't want it enough.
