Well-coached football players with the right attitude, because they'll play well-coached football with the right attitude.

I hope he keeps opening his mouth and playing his little mind games because at the end of the day they will realise (if not already) what a selfish prick he really is.

..redback, you can bag mm attitude all you like, but it's three coaches now with a crap playing culture, and it's only been mm that has recently started to turn this problem around..

Culture is common behaviour.

I witness a much more unified group today than I did 3 years ago. The behaviours are becoming much more consistent and not solely reliant in a couple of figure heads.

And no better way than to re- enforce the point by hearing first hand from the players themselves.

There is a change happening, and for the positive, unfortunately it is not as fast as some would like.

Perhaps the MM dissenters are part of the past ie those wanting a quick fix

Malthouse called on his senior players to establish a "winning culture", saying he was happy with the form of his rookies but the club's stars needed to provide the leadership to get the Pies back on track.

And he said the rot threatened to spread if senior players did not take action.

"If you're in a winning culture it can rub off, if you're in a losing culture it can rub off, so if they can stand up in those pressures, it's so encouraging," he said.

"But you don't want it to be a repeat performance because it certainly doesn't do them [the rookies] any good, because you end up with a losing culture, rather than [thinking] how can we win a game of footy?"
