It's a strong bet that Johnny Barker will be coaching against Port on June 20.

Let's hope it's just in an interim capacity, until the miraculous "recruitment process" materializes.

Why Barker for goodness sake? He has been at the club for ages, and appears to only be there because of a contract. Why not Laidley?

About Barker, I just think he has been our forward line coach for how long? Our functioning has been poor for a number of years. I didnt mean to just single him out, but we need a change of all the coaches as we need freshness and change.

Laidley has been with us for a shorter time, and our stoppage work is at least functioning,mad has the experience.

I would also hope that whoever comes in, it's only interim. I don't want us seduced by the few wins that may come along.

We need someone from the outside..
