We wont lose... Richmond is a bigger basketcase than we are .. but not as big as Melbourne.
They dont run both ways...and its a crap season...
Top 4 ......>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>everyone else>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>StKilda>> Demons and GWS....

Everybody is in our heads...... except Richmond.. were in theirs..... but if we lose.....just gut the joint!!!!...there is nothing less!!!

So i am saying we wont lose!!!... thirty years of pathetic Tigers history bears testiment to that!!!
We only have 18 years of pathetic history going on.
There can be only one winner.... cant be them!!!

Was briefly mentioned on 360 that Tiges fans would be crapping themselves at the thought of losing this one.
Hyped up all week..
Fans out in force at training...
Coach and playing list with little to no finals experience (I know Hardwick PLAYED in premiership sides, but as a senior coach, 0 finals experience)...
Pressures on them to perform...

The kye is a fast start
The nerves will kick in, and their fans will lose it if the Tiges start falling apart early...

Fair points, but Mark Williams has plenty of finals experience to pass on.....

Absolutely no doubt we can cause them all sorts of grief. Could also see us lose, comfortably. Just don't know which Carlton side will rock up.

The joys of following Carlton.

Now that we are there, I'd be bitterly disappointed if we give a meek effort this week. I want to smash these cauliflower.

The few people I've spoken to have Richmond smashing Carlton.

Yep, that's my concern too MPH.
Not only do we have a crap side turn up one week and a good side turn up another week - we also have times when a great side turns up for the first quarter (Collingwood game) and then disappears to be replaced by a completely different side that can't, or doesn't want to, play. Then we have games like Port when the crap side plays the first 2.5 quarters and gets subbed out for a team of champs for the final 1.5 quarters.
I'm happy to be corrected but I don't recall us playing one good 4 quarter game this year - hopefully we're saving it for the finals series. If so we are a chance against anyone. Go Blues.

Mick made a good point in a presser earlier this week.

There really is no difference between 5th and 8th unless an interstate team get a a home final.

This game is case in point.
Had we finished 5th and the Tiges 8th, we still would ve played this game on the same ground probably at the same time, with the same consequences for both winner and loser.
Richmond love the G. We also play well on the G and prefer it over other venues.
Both sides have beaten each other once this year.
By matchday, both sides would have had an 8 day break to recover from last week.

This game is really a lot more even then the anti Carlton press are giving it credit for.

So, we're like Melbourne weather.

Fingers crossed that a Carlton team shows up to play all 4 qtrs for the first time this year. Add MMs experience in finals, Murph and Gibbs finally showing something, a couple of good targets, Yazz and Jeffy starting to find the ball, a possible last game for Eddie and the fact that last week may have just got us going....

Very unpredictable team that, if we play 4qtrs, could match it with anyone.........

Sydney or Dawks next week. Who cares, we'll beat either of them

I AM CARLTON flower the rest!

Our playing group has not played one bad final since 2009.
Yes, I know we have only won the 1 final out of 4, but this shows that when our backs are to the wall we can go. And go we will.

Don’t underestimate how much it would mean to these players to be in the finals after the embaressment of last year.

Richmond have beaten us once since March 2008 and all of sudden they’re gonna click and smash us?! Unlikely.

Let everyone keep talking and pumping them up.

Andy Maher on The Blue Print says that Judd trained well and will defintely play.
He also mentioned that McLean and Scotland trained well.

So the last time Yarran saw his mum was the day he tore West Coast a new onr.
Sounds ok to me.

My thoughts exactly & if the boys shepherd & chase like steak knives & jeffy did that night then we won't be beaten Sunday.
